As a follow-up to yesterday’s post about the National Rifle Associations’s endorsement of Nancy Pelosi Tim Walz [D MN-1], we just received word that the Gun Owners of America Political Victory Fund has endorsed Randy Demmer for Minnesota’s First District.

In the endorsement of Demmer, the GOA also explains why Democrat Tim Walz is a Nancy Pelosi puppet and, ultimately, not pro-2nd Amendment.

Gun Owners of America Endorses Randy Demmer for Congress

Gun Owners of America Political Victory Fund is pleased to endorse Randy Demmer in Minnesota’s First Congressional District.

In three terms in the state legislature, Randy earned an “A” rating on gun rights issues. Randy values the Constitution and will consistently fight to protect the Second Amendment from infringements that routinely proposed in Washington.

His opponent in this race, incumbent Tim Walz, has proven to be nothing more than a voting puppet of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Four times in 2008-2009, Walz voted against protecting gun rights in national parks. At the same time, he voted to greatly expand the amount of federally controlled park land that would be subject to a total gun ban.

Walz also voted for the massive ObamaCare bill, despite concerns that government bureaucrats could use information gleaned from a medical records database to strip away people’s Second Amendment rights.

And Walz voted for the so-called DISCLOSE Act, which seeks to prevent groups like GOA from criticizing an incumbent’s voting record in the months leading up to an election. Given Walz’s bad voting record, it is not surprising that he would like to hide it from his constituents.

The choice for gun owners and sportsmen in Minnesota’s First Congressional District is clear. Unlike his opponent, Randy Demmer will always stand up for your gun rights, and he will also stand up to the gun control schemes of Nancy Pelosi and her congressional allies.
