Democrats Are Funding Their Campaigns With Money Taken From Foreign Nationals

Do you remember the game of Whack-A-Mole?  You know, the game you play on the boardwalk or at the county fair where, for a couple of bucks, you can win a stuffed toy for ‘whacking’ these stupid cartoonish-looking moles on the head with a mallet when they pop up?

Well, this one is almost too easy.

Last week, when the White House and DNC launched their desperate campaign to smear the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, alleging the federation is funding GOP campaigns with “foreign money,” our immediate reaction was:

Do they really want to go down this road? Really?

Are those who are really launching the attacks going to expose themselves this easily?

Then, when both David Axlerod and Vice President Biden both popped up saying ‘well, then, let the Chamber prove they’re not accepting foreign money,’ it became almost effortless child’s play to show how two can play that game.

Besides the union-backed Democrats’ desire to obtain a list of the Chamber’s individual members so they could be singled out and targeted by the keeper’s of the White House enemies list, the hypocrisy is just too easy to expose.

Prove the charge is false, they say?  Open your books, they say? Well, prove this charge wrong:

Democrats are funding their campaigns with money taken by foreign nationals, and often under the threat of retaliation.

Here are just two examples:

The SEIU: 176 House Democrats have taken money from the Service Employees International Union in 2010.

The UFCW: 182 House Democrats have taken money from the United Food & Commercial Workers in 2010

Both unions have members they represent in states that do NOT have right to work laws, which means that if a worker refuses to pay a union, the union can have the worker fired from his or her job.

While unions are only supposed to fund candidates through their PACs, many union members sign PAC forms because they are pressured to do so by their union bosses…

I have been a member of the Service Employees International Union (1199P) for 27 years. I am the president of a local nurses union in Pennsylvania. Every day I experience the pressure for our local nurses union to have all of our members contribute to the Political Action Committee fund. SEIU even goes as far as telling its locals that if a percentage of its members contribute, they will receive 1% of their high union dues back to the locals. When will it end? Good luck with the investigation. Our members do not want to contribute to the PAC fund.

Other workers sign union documents because all-too-often they do not understand what they are signing.  This is especially the case if there is an inability to read or write English (see form below).

High-ranking union bosses, at both the UFCW and the SEIU, have acknowledged they have members who are illegally in the U.S. (aka ‘foreign nationals’).

Here’s another example of the SEIU having members (in California, where it is legal for workers to be fired for failing to pay the union) who are in the U.S. illegally

ABM has been a union company for decades, and many of the workers have been there for years. “They’ve been working in the buildings downtown for 15, 20, some as many as 27 years,” said Olga Miranda, president of Service Employees Local 87. “They’ve built homes. They’ve provided for their families. They’ve sent their kids to college. They’re not new workers. They didn’t just get here a year ago.”

Nevertheless, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) division of the Department of Homeland Security has told ABM that they have flagged the personnel records of those workers. Weeks ago, ICE agents sifted through Social Security records and the I-9 immigration forms all workers have to fill out when they apply for jobs. They then told ABM that the company had to fire 475 workers who were accused of lacking legal immigration status.

So, let’s sum this up, shall we?

  1. We have unions that contribute money to hundreds of Democrat candidates.
  2. Those same unions take money from illegal immigrants (aka ‘foreign nationals’)
  3. Those same unions then give Democrats money taken from foreign nationals

And, just to take this a step further:

Since Axlerod and Biden want the U.S. Chamber to prove them wrong by opening up the list of who their donors are, how asking the same of them? How about having the unions open up who their list of members are to determine which ones are legal U.S. residents?

Do you really want to go down this road, Democrats?

Whack. A. Mole.

    Their very first paragraph:

“The American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO) is a voluntary federation of 57 national and international labor unions. The AFL-CIO was created in 1955 by the merger of the AFL and the CIO.”

The words “57 national and international labor unions” is underlined as a link where you can view a list of the “voluntary federation”. By my count 29 of the 57 unions are international.

Obvious. Yet articles in the LA Times in C of C stories in two consecutive days did not mention ANYTHING about the union thug/Dumbocrat relationship.

Without understanding that it is a federation (aka cartel) of individual unions… Sort of like the United Nations.

purposefully turning off the address verificatoin (AVS) of his campaign site’s credit card processor or not returning the $32K in donations they received from a Palestinian refugee camp.

But frankly, I’m sure those were just a drop in the bucket compared to the spigot of money coming in from unios’ foreign affilates.

The thing is, it was pointed out to these folks almost immediately that, as I put it, the “International” in the names of so many unions is not ornamental.

This should be all the evidence needed to show that this whole episode is simply a partisan stunt and an effort to intimidate and harass political opposition, the fact that the hysteria is directed solely at the Chamber of Commerce while ignoring unions with the exact same issue.

Oh…and lets not forget George Soros…he’s Greek isn’t he…and he’s been bankrolling Dems for 10 years or more hasn’t he?

Lest we forget…lets take a walk down memory lane and revisit all the Chinese money raised during the Clinton Years…Al Gore Anyone? You remember…that fundraiser at a Hindu temple.

The only thing sillier than the Dems opening this can of worms is the inability of the Republican Establishment to be able to make ANY hay of it.Thank God we have Red State so we can do it FOR them!

I heard about this yesterday, that the dept. of transportation was going to issue new guidelines in the form of weight restrictions and acquiring one’s commercial drivers license. If you are 20 lbs. over your optimum body weight, or are in possession of a neck larger than “16, you will not be able to take the c.d.l. drivers test. This, all in the name of energy conservation. Has anyone else heard of this yet? Not a peep out of my teamster union “brothers & sisters” concerning this development.

It will get more trucks off the road–which will fit their “green” agenda. It will also help cripple the economy even more and fit the “Marxist revolution” part of their agenda. What more could we ask?

With 2 million members in Canada, the United States and Puerto Rico, SEIU is the fastest-growing union in the Americas. Focused on uniting workers in healthcare, public services and property services, SEIU members are winning better wages, healthcare and more secure jobs for our communities, while uniting their strength with their counterparts around the world to help ensure that workers–not just corporations and CEOs–benefit from today’s global economy.

Note that they have members in Canada. Proof positive that foreign nationals are partially funding every bit of SEIU’s political advertising.

Yet again, total hypocrisy and dishonesty from people too corrupt to have a conscience. It’s different when they do it, and always for a good cause.
