You may have noticed over these last few weeks that the protesters in Wisconsin and elsewhere seem to be well trained at trouble making. It’s almost as if they have their B.S. degrees from the University of Alinsky.
Well, as every good community organizer knows, you can’t astroturf without being properly trained in the science of trouble making and that is why you too can learn the dark science of Alinsky in Madison on April Fool’s Day [actually April 1st & 2nd].
Friday April 1, 2011, 5p.m., free Reception.
Cartoon and photo exhibit.
Guest speakers on “The State of the Unions”
Saturday, April 2, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Workshops
$25 includes Saturday lunch, Register Now
Labor Temple, 1602 South Park St., Madison
Some of the finer points of troublemaking will include:
New and Old Organizing Strategies
Art for Mobilization
…and so much more
According to the courses offered, it sounds as though there will be much for left-wing activists (or any other activists) to learn:
The idea is not just to talk about problems for a day and then go home, but to come up with specific plans in some areas, so that we can go out Monday morning and get to work organizing to build on what we’ve done.
In fact, successful graduates will be able to easily go to some unsuspecting lawmaker’s private residence and protest to their heart’s content, like these troublemakers*…
* It is unknown whether the subjects in this clip are actual graduates from the aforementioned Troublemakers’ School, or are merely self-taught.
[Note: While the tactics of Saul Alinksy will be taught, participants are urged to bring their own copy because, for $25, there’s only so much capital to spend for socialist learning programs.]
You can register for the Madison Troublemakers School here

Listen to Senator Rubio humbly explain his loss: “I’m disappointed with tonight. I want you to understand, I want you to understand something. Our disappointment tonight is not on you, it’s on me. Share on Facebook 1 1 SHARES Sadly, it appears that New Hampshire may have muddied the GOP field, rather than clarifying it. Even though Kasich and Jeb do not have obvious paths forward to the nomination, they are going to convince themselves that they do, at least through Super Tuesday – and they will probably find donors who will indulge that belief. Somewhere, Donald Trump | Read More »
Share on Facebook 1 1 SHARES The GOP Establishment is bound to be looking at New Hampshire, a state where they perform well, seeing Donald Trump coming away with a major and distant first place, and weeping to themselves that their party has gone so terribly awry. There are a couple of things I’d like to say to them, but in the interest of keeping | Read More »
Share on Facebook 1 1 SHARES Well this will be … interesting. Sure. Let’s use that word. It should be interesting. This is a live feed from the Trump HQ where you’ll be able to watch. It is dropping in and out a bit but will hopefully be solid once the speech begins. That’s the live feed. Of the headquarters for Donald Trump. Who people | Read More »
