Congressman & Obama Ally Accepts Social Justice Award From Communist Party Affiliate

A longtime ally of President Barack Obama, Congressman Danny K. Davis [D-IL] was in Chicago recently accepting the Social Justice Award from People’s World, a Communist-based website.

The editorial mission is partisan to the working class, people of color, women, young people, seniors, LGBT community, to international solidarity; to popularize the ideas of Marxism and Bill of Rights socialism. The websites enjoy a special relationship with the Communist Party USA, founded in 1919, and publish its news and views. [Emphasis added]

[Ironically, the staff members of People's World are members of the Newspaper Guild, CWA, AFL-CIO.]

The award was given to the Congressman at the Chicago headquarters of the Communist Party USA—a location that the Congressman seemed to be perfectly comfortable at accepting his award as you can see by this video [via BigGovernment]

As noted at BigGovernment, Davis is also a member of the House Committee on Homeland Security.

Of course, according to today’s Leftist PC-lexicon, pointing out that Marxists are within the federal government is considered “red baiting.”

    This “Congressman” is no more an American than Osama bin Laden. I don’t care where he was born, what language he speaks or where he lives.

    We have too many commies in government starting with the White House on down.

      I’m sure a majority of Obama voters in ’08 didn’t know he was a Marxist, Chicago, street thug named Barry. I can cut them some slack because they bought the MSM’s “new and improved” version, hook, line and sinker.

      But those fine folks in Davis’ district know full well what he is, and they still vote him in.

      If this south Georgia boy visited Chicago, he would surely feel like he was on another planet. I’m sure I have as much in common with ET as I do with those, flag-burning, US-hating scumbags.

        I’m sure that the electorate leans way to the left. Davis has made no secret of his far-left policies, and the voters there love him for it.

        Reminds me of Ron Dellums from CA.

    Is anyone surprised by this? Barack Obama is indubitably a Marxist in disguise as an American. So it is quite understandable that those with close ties to the Obama administration would adhere to the same ideology as Barack Obama does.

    When you think about it, Americanism i.e. “the American way” is the antipathy of Marxism. Marxism adheres to the concept of government elitists in absolute control of the masses, in a classless society, although excluding the elitists obviously, who rule with an iron fist over the masses which they seek to control.

    As an aside, the AFL-CIO is overrun with Communist aficionados and naturally AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka enthusiastically endorses the Obama administration and Obama’s reelection bid.

    Labor Unions aren’t what they used to be needless to say. They are now basically the “mafia” in disguise as Unions. Ruled by elitists and thugs i.e. such as Richard Trumka, etc., who seek to “control” their workforce through “intimidation” and “manipulation” and threats of retaliation on those who happen to get out of line. Which is Obama’s cup of tea obviously. And no doubt the reason why Obama continues to ‘reward’ thuggery Big Unions with taxpayer money and other incentives to this day. Birds of a feather… flock together. And yet another reason to oust Obama and other progressive Democrats from office in November.

    speak at corrupt events set up by anti-American groups. Yes the media backed off the GOP and yes McCarthy was right. The party grew weaker and more like the democrats as the commi’s marginalized republicans as they demanded entitlements. Always fight back because the left is mentally weaker and they buckle under pressure as we debunk them. Proof? We are winning the contraception debate and the polls reflect Obama is losing ground. Commis and progessives, not much difference……. we dislike them as much as they dislike the Tea Party and the conservative movement.
