Defunding Planned Parenthood is a Non-Negotiable

Just moments ago, the House passed the Pence Amendment, which strips Planned Parenthood of all federal funding in the Continuing Resolution, by a vote of 240 to 185.

RedState readers already know that the final composition of the Continuing Resolution will be determined after a contentious showdown between the House, Senate, and White House.

Let me very clear: ending taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood in this bill is a non-negotiable. It must be a top priority in the Continuing Resolution battle.

Taxpayers have strongly rejected their complicity in the sex trafficking of underage girls. Our pro-life leaders in the Senate need to take up this fight and our House leadership must hold its ground.

Americans have spoken and the time to defund Planned Parenthood, a habitual and unapologetic ally of those who deal in the exploitation of minors, is now. This is a black and white issue and we must accept nothing less than the total defunding of Planned Parenthood in the Continuing Resolution.

I hope Ms Sanger is spinning in her grave. Her “negro project” (http://www.blackgenocide.org/negro.html) is falling apart and it’s about time!

What was that Glenn said?

Defunding another Final Solution

Planned Parenthood is a murder mill, overwhelmingly removing minority children from the surplus population. Enabling underage prostitution is just a natural offshoot. This is a black and white issue but sadly it has mostly been a black issue. Socialism and racism continue to be historically and inherently linked.

Non Negotiable is exactly right

how the hell did a Republican Congress keep funding the Baby Butchers of America for 12 years and nobody knew it?

Because they were until recently always petrified

of being called racists and bigots, which is the chronic lefty habit that has gone on since the Dems. filibustered the Civil Rights and Voting Rights Acts, and why Conservatives and Republicans put up with this nonsense for 40 years is inconceivable.
I think it took the election of the “first black president” and his unimaginable agenda that has finally, like the princess’ kiss of the frog, freed most Americans from the abject fear of name-calling the socialists indulge perpetually.
On Drudge today, on reports out of Wisconsin, I am shocked, shocked to see how many responses to people who do not support unions are calling writers bigots and racists as if WI, a land of Swedes and cows once upon a time, has suddenly become a mirror image of Harlem, esp. among school teachers and their unions.
As the left has no other arguments or cases, they in the most ridiculous situations now still fall back on labeling any opposition racist and bigoted, even when the vast majority opposed are lily-white indulgers in union thuggery.

Defunding PP is a beautiful thing to behold. nt

It is about time that this organization was de-funded. The havoc they have wreaked in this country has been nothing short of a national tragedy.

May I suggest a trade, we fund the Hemlock Society

johnt Friday, February 18th at 5:12PM EDT (link)

instead, but only for dedicated, we’ll take their word, liberals[?]. In return we expect a pledge, dated and with a due date, as to when these dedicated liberals[?] will avail themselves of the benevolent services of the Society. As an incentive for the first customers we’ll toss in a stipend for burial or cremation services, and a honor roll of those consistent, honorable[ in their own way] liberals[?] who as the saying goes, put principles above politics.
I expect a massive reception on this and will donate $5 of my own money for the program.
Liberals should not be deprived of their attachment and commitment to death, it’s the least we can do as we “reach out” and “cross the aisle”.

2012 RALLY CRY – ‘BACK TO THE FUTURE’!

eileenforfreedomliberty (Diary) Friday, February 18th at 5:27PM EDT (link)

America…our taxpayer monies are going to this organization…as well as NPR! It is high time we cut back on any ‘unnecessary’ spending…and Planned Parenthood and the NPR are just two we can start with!

And as to this organization…women have always had a CHOICE! They make that CHOICE when they CHOOSE to get in bed with a man…knowing that the union could result in a pregnancy! Once a child is created out of that union there are no further CHOICES to be made!

Now it is their RESPONSIBILITY to bring forth that life! If they then CHOOSE not to raise that child, they can make the CHOICE to bestow that blessed innocent child on someone who CHOOSES to raise it gratefully!

The shameful thing...

badabing (Diary) Friday, February 18th at 5:35PM EDT (link)

is that this probably will never make it into the final version. As much as I hate to say it, the political reality is that this WILL probably be negotiated out by the Senate Republicans.

Rollcall vote.

Kevin Allen (Diary) Friday, February 18th at 7:20PM EDT (link)

I’ve been looking for it too. I have read there were 7 House Republicans who voted no. I want to know who they are. They need to be primaried.
