In Attempt to Sound Even More Ridiculous, Anderson Cooper Compares Capitol Riot to 800K Killed in Rwandan Genocide

On today’s episode of “The Most Trusted Name in News,” CNN anchor Anderson Cooper continues his torrid pace of making nonsensical hyperbolic comparisons between Donald Trump and his supporters to some of history’s most horrific events.

As you might recall, Cooper in early January laughably declared that Republicans who continued to follow Trump were “like a nihilistic death cult.”

“Let me ask you, the Republicans just lost the Senate and, you know, you had Donald Trump Jr. earlier this morning saying, you know, this is Donald Trump’s Republican Party, which we have said over and over and over again, which clearly it is now, why would any Republican continue to follow this man?

“As he goes off to Mar-a-Lago with his quarter of a billion dollars, I know they want some of that money, I know they’re afraid of a bad tweet, but I mean, just — the GOP is becoming like a nihilistic death cult if they follow him.”

However, given stiff competition from Fredo Cuomo, Donnie Lemon, Alisyn Camerota, Jake Tapper, Jim Acosta, Brooke Baldwin, Brian Stelter, and others, all of whom do their damnedest on a daily basis to spew the most awful crap about Trump and his supporters they can concoct in their TDS-riddled brains, Cooper upped his game considerably on Tuesday, comparing the Jan. 6 Capitol riot with the 1994 Rwandan genocide — a horrific event in which roughly 800,000 people slaughtered over the course of just 100 days.

During a segment with Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger (IL), who’s not exactly the president of the Donald Trump fan club, it was obvious that Cooper was really into the hideous comparison.

“Part of it, I think, just based on what you were just saying, it comes to mind, the idea of otherizing people is something I think we saw a lot of over the last four years.

“I mean, certainly we’ve seen a lot over the last decades, but it’s so easy to otherize people, to make people other than, other than American, other than patriotic, other than human,”

“You know, and we’ve seen it in Bosnia, we’ve seen it in Rwanda, where radio was telling people that you know, Hutus, were telling the radio listeners that Tutsi were cockroaches for you know, getting them ginned up for genocide.”

Stop the tape.

Anderson Cooper — along with his above-mentioned CNN cohorts — accusing anyone of otherizing anybody qualifies for immediate entry into the Hypocrisy Hall of Fame.

This clown earlier called Trump supporters a nihilistic death cult, and now, Capitol “rioters” were the equivalence of bloodthirsty Rwandan Hutus who hacked to death almost 1 million men, women, and children in little more than three months.

Moreover, the Democrat Party and its liberal media lapdogs — Cooper being one of the hood ornaments of the “Otherize Donald Trump and His Supporters” clown car — have incessantly “otherized” half of America for four years. Or, as Hillary Clinton called “them,” a “basket of deplorables.”

Please, dude — shut the hypocritical hell up about “otherizing.”

In between “you knows,” Cooper tried to make this ludicrous comparison:

“And you see it in these videos where people who claim they are patriots are in the face of a police officer calling him you know, as we’re seeing it right there and you know, gouging out of the eye of one, you know, squeezing one in, you know, a suffocating one in a doorway.”

The “best” part about “The Most Trusted Name in News” is that Cooper, Tapper, Cuomo, Lemon & Co. believe every word of it. They truly believe it’s “normal” to compare Trump and his supporters to a nihilistic death cult, the Rwandan genocide, Adolf Hitler and the Holocaust, and all of the other vile crap they’ve incessantly spewed for four years.

One need look no further than Jake Tapper’s Twilight Zone-ish claim in mid-January.

“There are channels in which lies are told and there are channels in which facts are told & people who want the lies, they don’t come here. They go to a different channel.”

With a straight face, mind you.

Still, I already miss Jim “Dear Diary” Acosta’s theatrics during White House press conferences. Nah — I’m just messing with you.
