ROFL: Acclaimed Artist Hunter Biden Expected to Meet With Potential Buyers Prior to 'Anonymous Sales'

I’ve never been sure whether Democrats think the rest of us are too stupid to see through their schemes and transparent lies, or if they don’t give a damn whether we do or not. Either way, they’re going to do what they’re going to do. Innumerable examples abound to illustrate the point. Either way, they get away with it.

The current hood ornament of that hypocritical clown car is the dynamic duo of Joe and Hunter Biden.

As we first reported in mid-June, Joe’s globe-trotting grifter son’s latest scheme is declaring himself an artist, painting marginal paintings, and selling them for up to $500K per. Needless to say, it doesn’t take proverbial rocket science to see the potential for influence peddling.

As we later reported, even Obama ethics chief Walter Shaub blasted the scheme: White House officials helped draft a document claiming the names of the purchasers will be kept confidential including from Hunter; that the art dealer would know the identity of the buyer but Hunter would not. Finally, as we reported, even CNN called out White House press secretary Circle-Back Psaki over the laughable scheme.

Again, either they think we’re too stupid to see through it — or they don’t give a damn, one way or another; the band plays on and the silly song remains the same — now, with a new, even more hilarious, twist.

As CBS News reported on Wednesday, the widely-acclaimed [ahem] artist is expected to meet with prospective buyers at two art shows where his paintings will be on display later this year. This, according to a spokesperson for the New York gallery retained to sell Hunter’s art.

The shows, a small, private affair in Los Angeles and a larger exhibition in New York City, will give Biden an opportunity to interact with potential buyers of his paintings, which the gallery expects to sell for as much as $500,000.

Asked whether Hunter Biden would attend both events, Georges Berges Gallery spokeswoman Robin Davis said, “Oh yes. With pleasure. He’s looking forward to it. It is like someone debuting in the world. And of course, he will be there.”

Davis also said, “everyone will be vetted, so…whoever is appropriate will be attending.”

What the hell does that mean? Vetted? By whom? Appropriate? Again, as deemed by whom? Based on what criteria? This is one of those times when it’s appropriate to play the “shoe on the other foot” card.

Imagine, for a nanosecond, the histrionics if instead of Joe and Hunter Biden, this was Donald Trump and Eric or Don Jr.? What would have happened if Eric or Jr. had attempted to pull a “Hunter Biden” while “Satan” was president? The apoplectic seizures on the sets of CNN and MSNBC? Yet? [Cue the crickets]

So let’s lay this out. Average-at-best artist Hunter Biden is going to attend two art shows, both of which will only admit “vetted,” “appropriate” potential buyers of his paintings — at up to $500K per —with whom he’ll no doubt socialize, but the gallery owners will keep the identities of future buyers from Hunter and daddy.

Does that seem at odds with the scheme announced earlier this month by Circle-Back Psaki?

But Circle-Back continues to insist it’ll all work out just fine, saying again, recently:

“Well, I think it would be challenging for an anonymous person who we don’t know and Hunter Biden doesn’t know to have influence. So that’s a protection.”

Stupid? They don’t give a damn, one way or the other.

Biden spokesman Andrew Bates pointed to a July 8th statement and piled up the bullcrap even higher.

“The president has established the highest ethical standards of any administration in American history, and his family’s commitment to rigorous processes like this is a prime example.”

I could spend the rest of the day providing blatant cases to the contrary, but just yesterday I reported this: Like Hillary, Like Joe? Biden Used Private Email to Send Government Information to Grifter Son Hunter, in which I included specific examples that prove Biden’s claims of never having discussed his grifter son’s business dealings have been bald-faced lies.

Of this latest twist, ethics chief Shaub said:

“Is Hunter Biden going to walk around the art show with a blindfold on? It just goes to show you the focus isn’t on government ethics. It’s just showing the child of a president can cash in on the presidency.”

Spot-on, Mr. Shaub.

But one last time, whether they think we’re too stupid to see through the blatant charade or they don’t give a damn what we think, they’re going to do what they’re going to do — and unlike anything even close involving Donald Trump and one of his sons, there will be no outcry in the liberal lapdog media.

Yep, gang, “Joe and Hunter’s Excellent Adventure” continues.
