WATCH: Jordan Peterson Tweets Full ‘Trans Ideology' Video Banned by YouTube as ‘Hate Speech'

Question: What happens when world-renowned clinical psychologist and best-selling author Jordan Peterson gets together with Elon Musk, owner, chief technical officer, and chairman of Twitter?

Answer: Just like Tucker Carlson, Peterson can provide unique commentary to his audience on the platform, bypassing other platforms that are hostile to him and his ideas.

When YouTube banned Peterson’s video, titled “Trans: When Ideology Meets Reality,” due to an alleged violation of the platform’s “hate speech” policy, the renowned psychologist hotfooted it over to Musk’s Twitter, and promptly tweeted the complete video, YouTube be damned.

YouTube absurdly informed Peterson:

Content glorifying or inciting violence against another person or group of people is not allowed on YouTube. We also don’t allow any content that encourages hatred of another person or group of people based on their membership in a protected group.

Nonsense. The only thing Peterson’s video violated was the left’s pro-trans narrative.

Peterson promptly responded to YouTube’s allegations — via Musk’s Twitter, of course:

I have now officially been accused of hate speech by YouTube, Let’s be clear about this: that is a direct accusation [of] conduct deemed criminal in many jurisdictions. This is absolutely not OK, @YouTube. Not OK.

Take a seat, YouTube — your services are no longer required by Dr. Peterson.

“I am also accused as you can all see of ‘inciting violence,’” Peterson continued in the thread. “To say I am tired of being accused in this manner by narcissistic authoritarians is to say almost nothing.”

Later on Saturday, Musk enthusiastically invited Peterson to upload the YouTube-banned video to Twitter.

Upload the video here on your X/Twitter account!

Musk may be mercurial at times, but in situations like this, you can’t help but love the guy.

An invitation suggestion the renowned Dr. Peterson promptly accepted.

In its first few hours, the video garnered nearly a million views and more than 9,000 shares. YouTube’s ban of the “trans ideology” video turned out to be a blessing in disguise; not only for Jordan Peterson but also for those in search of informed knowledge that refutes the left’s “transgender” narrative.

The Bottom Line

I’m not one to irresponsibly toss around comparisons to Lenin, Hitler, and other such authoritarian dictators, and I won’t do so, here.

What I will do is point out that revolutions that in the end turn out beyond repressive for populations under the boot of such dictators often include the banning of books, historical documents, and other such invaluable materials because authoritarian revolutionaries are terrified of the potential effect of their respective populations having ready access to freedom of thought and expression that runs counter to their totalitarian narratives.

Hence in today’s America, the banning of conservative speakers on many of our university campuses, or the censorship by social media platforms of content and factual information that runs counter to the left’s various narratives — the COVID pandemic provided a perfect example of such — is not dissimilar to the control-of-information actions of history’s most repressive regimes.

Think about it: When politicians, media outlets, social media platforms, et al., impose false narratives on the American people, it’s completely logical — not to be confused with “right” — for those who pedal in lies to be terrified of the truth.

In closing, and this is relevant with respect to all political narratives by which America is currently under bombardment, I’m reminded of a famous quote from American economist, social theorist, and writer Stuart Chase:

For those who believe, no proof is necessary. For those who don’t believe, no proof is possible.

Meanwhile, Kudos to both Jordan Peterson and Elon Musk.
