As the odds of Donald Trump winning the 2024 presidential continue to increase, the hysterical hyperbole among Democrats and their quasi-official media continues to become more hilarious.
One of the most recent examples comes from none other than MSNBC, the "official" Stage-4 Trump Derangement Syndrome media outlet. On Sunday's edition of The Weekend, co-host Symone Sanders-Townsend tried to scare the hell out of women by absurdly warning that if Trump wins in November, women will be walking around like characters in the futuristic dystopian novel (and TV series) "The Handmaid's Tale."
No, really. Here's Ms. Sanders-Townsend, in all of her Trump-loathing glory:
[I]f people are not paying attention, and we do not tell people what he's saying ... he will get re-elected, and then y'all are going to be surprised when, again, the ladies are walking around in red dresses with those little white hoods, like The Handmaid's Tale."
Why it's almost like there's a competition on the left about who can spew the most histrionic crap about Trump; the "white supremacist," "dictator-wannabe," and the second coming of "Hitler." My favorite part is how serious they are while making utter fools out of themselves.
While Sanders-Townsend's spew was nonsensical, there's a larger issue at play here, which has become the main strategy of Joe Biden's re-election bid, dutifully backed up by the liberal media lapdogs, the geniuses of ABC's "The View," and TDS-riddled Democrat pundits across America, which none of the above will just come out and admit:
Biden's chances of beating Trump in November not only continue to fade, but also the 46th president's miserable record continues to worsen — principally by "virtue" of never-ending Bidenflation and his intentionally created illegal alien crisis, the consequences of which continue to spread across the country. Hence, the only way Biden's handlers and the sycophantic "mainstream" media figure Biden has a chance in hell in November is to ignore his disastrous record and instead remain fixated on attacking Trump.
But here's the salient fact:
The Democrats and their left-wing media sock puppets have tried their damnedest to destroy The Donald since he rode down the Trump Tower "golden escalator" in June 2015 to announce his first presidential run. While that strategy failed in 2016, yet was arguably successful in 2020, I'd bet a dollar it won't be successful in 2024. Why?
Because Biden's presidency has spectacularly failed — even beyond Republican expectations.
As for Sanders-Townsend, she's been on quite a roll recently.
Yesterday [Saturday], we caught her describing the investigation into Fani Willis as being "a little sexist and a little racist." Even staunch Trump antagonists like Donna Brazile have acknowledged that Willis's romantic relationship with a member of her prosecution team was a serious lapse of judgment.
As Trump might say, "Sad. Very sad." And he'd be right.
The Bottom Line
Today's Democrat Party has nothing to run on — given what it's done to America over the last more than three years — other than desperately trying to paint Donald Trump as the Devil incarnate and intentionally dividing America along racial lines by absurdly playing the race card at every self-concocted opportunity.
