Well, at least Meghan Cofield’s getting work.

Who is Meghan Cofield? Well, she’s a Ohio worker who lost her job, and it’s all John Kasich’s fault!

No, wait, it was all John McCain’s fault!

Yeah. That was an ad from 2008 – same person, and even some of the same footage – when Barack Obama was pretending to be hating on NAFTA (needless to say, that promise came with an expiration date: also needless to say, Strickland has no intention of bringing that up with the President). Which leads me to the next question: just why is Meghan Cofield so depressed? She seems to be developing quite the career race-baiting the Chinese.

PS: By the way: at what point does Ohio’s 11.0% unemployment rate start becoming Governor Strickland’s (D) responsibility?  Because I know when it can stop being his

reason we conservatives really really need a whole new crop of GOP or conservative candidates who have no past association with NAFTA which can be made into commercials. Not that I’m not in favor of NAFTA or other Bi-Lateral trade agreements, but I am really suspicious of the WTO, NAFTA and all other multi-national trade pacts where the USA always seems to get “screwed”. Press 1 for English, 2 for Espanol, 3 for Francais?????

    Call it a quirk.

Doesn’t sound like she’s doing much to better herself anyways, and the Dems can always USE her again.

is a new leader. Someone who can lead us rather than divide us. It seems as if we are going in too many directions. And each time that happens we lose another few thousand people. The rhetoric in some of the posts is totally non-productive. When infighting happens what good does it do? With a strong leader and good solid direction we can do things like we did with Scott Brown in MA, and Christy in NJ. Instead when we left weak leaders lead we have messes like we had in NY 21. Not everyone agrees with Newt but he is focused, concise, and knows what has to be done to make the changes we need to make to survive as a nation. Let’s stop allowing the ego trips that our leaders (and I use that term loosley) are taking, let’s call them on their crap and say to them that they either stay on task, do what we appointed them to do or take the next train out of town.

Great History Professor. Some of his ideas let the cat out of the bag that he is a “Big Government Republican”. For example his big idea for cutting health care costs is to put all our medical records on-line. Of course the government has to have free access to our records, and any hacker who takes a notion to hack into the system. But the government can secure the records, just like they do VA and other government records which have had Privacy “accidents”. But it is for our own good, just ask Dear Leader. The Dems included cash in the “Stimulus” to pay doctors to computerize their records. Of course they must also allow government access in exchange for the money. And, as usual, we have no say in the matter.

Enough rant. But I really can’t understand what “mess” we had in NY 21. Democrat Paul Tonko won the District in the 2008 elections with almost 62% of the vote. I might be mistaken, but I don’t believe there were any Conservatives in the race. But I certainly do agree that the current Republican “Leadership” can be a term applied loosely.
