Meet Scott Walker (R CAND, WI-GOV).

Scott’s got a longer primary than most (September), so he was able to talk with Redstate for a bit on the race, the likely Democratic nominee (apparently, the White House cleared out primary opposition to this race, too), and why the Democratic governor of Wisconsin isn’t the Democratic nominee.

His website is here.

Scott Walker is AWESOME!

Strong fiscal conservative from Milwaukee County that has yet to return a single tax hike budget.

He’s the only voice for low taxes and small government in South East Wisconsin fighting all sorts of tax hikes and expansions of government (like the Kenosha/Milwaukee RTA). He has a powerful message and is going to hit the ground running come November.

A heck of a lot better that Tom the Taxer! ;D (… and definitely wasn’t dragged kicking and screaming into the race by Obama)

Go Scott!

(… and good luck to Ron Johnson, an excellent candidate from Oshkosh running against Feingold! He needs our support more than ever.)

Believe in Wisconsin Again

is Scott Walker’s campaign slogan. He has all the right ideas about what we need to do in Madison to become a business-friendly state again. When you have a company like Harley-Davidson thinking of leaving the state after doing business here for over 100 years, you know something has to change.

I encourage everyone in Wisconsin to get involved in Scott’s campaign. I am a Walker volunteer and it is very exciting being involved in a campaign for a candidate I really believe in. He is currently collecting signatures to be placed on the ballot. This is the perfect time to get involved by helping him get those signatures.

in Wisconsin despise Scott, which means he’d make a great Governor. :)
