FRONT PAGE CONTRIBUTOR

South Carolina Results.

First off: Haley and Barrett will face each other in a runoff. Given that Nikki came within a fraction of winning this outright and got twice Gresham’s votes, I think that maybe the Congressman should think about whether he wants to continue.

Over on the Lt. Gov side: I’m tentatively going to say that it will be Ard and Connor in the runoff. I don’t think that Richter is going to find another 10K votes. Don’t attack a man’s combat record next time, Sparky.

On the House side: in SC-01, Tim Scott for sure, second to be determined; and in SC-04 incumbent Bob Ingl[i]s came in an embarrassing second place to Trey Gowdy, although they’ll be having a runoff there, too. And maybe Ingles should be thinking about this as well.

Having met Nikki Haley at the RS Gathering last year, I can say she will make a fine governor of that state.

Also, Moe, the SC-04 Congressman’s name is spelled “Inglis”.

like the foul little sleazeball he is.

Good riddance to Richter, too. It was so stressful keeping track of the silverware with him hanging around.

Barrett should wise up after his “victory” celebration (the fevered chanting of “We’re #2!” just doesn’t have the right ring to it) and do the math. He would be a total long shot and have to go scorched-earth on Haley, after seeing what just happened to Bauer after trying to do it without fingerprints.

Be aware, the Bauer/McMaster camps will go with Barrett. They are the ole’ boys club. They don’t like Nikki. She needs a lot of support from us! She also has the least amount of money. Please send what you can.
