SEIU to GOP: please target the following races…

…because they’re going to be written off:

  • Larry Kissell (NC-08)
  • Mike McMahon (NY-13)
  • Michael Arcuri (NY-24)
  • Zach Space (OH-18)

At least, that’s my impression from this petulant whine from the SEIU about the way that they were forced to spend ten million dollars to lose the Lincoln/Halter race, and how they’re not going to support the Senator anyway, so there.  She can just go down in defeat, the mean woman anti-union Democrat.

Yes.  This stance will no doubt please Lincoln’s fellow Arkansas Democrats Gov. Mike Beebe (opponent: Jim Keet), candidate Chad Causey (opponent: Rick Crawford), candidate Joyce Elliot (opponent: Tim Griffin), candidate David Whittaker (opponent: Steve Womack), and of course Rep. Mike Ross (opponent: Beth Anne Rankin).  It will certainly please John Boozman, who already knows that Lincoln is doomed, anyway.  And it’s definitely going to please you and me, because we remember what happened when Creigh Deeds imploded in Virginia.

Hmm.  Perhaps my definition of ‘please’ isn’t the same as an Arkansas Democrat’s.

The Pennsylvania AFL-CIO said the same thing in about Jason Altmire after his Healthcare vote.

At first, Jack Shea, the head of the Allegheny County Labor Council, was planning on challenging Altmire for the Democrat nomination, but later decided against a run.

Now the Union’s plan is to not support Altmire in the November election. The problem for the Unions, Altmire’s opponent in PA-4 is Keith Rothfus, a conservative Republican with strong Tea Party ties.

Here, like in the races Moe listed above, Unions have an option to opt out and chance a conservative taking labor seat away, or grudgingly supporting the Dem who temporarily turned their back on the Union.

Chances are, the Unions will eventually kiss and make-up with these wayward Dems.

Bob Gibbs is the GOP-endorsed candidate in Ohio-18, the seat that Zac Space currently holds. Mr. Gibbs is a jelly-spined RINO, too arrogant to even speak with the common man. Is say that from experience. RINOs like Mr. Gibbs highlight the fact that the GOP stands for nothing in particular at all.

And, by the way: ‘RINO’ when it’s coming from someone with your level of contempt for the Republican Party is not particularly insulting. Try for more intellectual consistency next time. Or even coherence.
