FRONT PAGE CONTRIBUTOR

Meet Michel Faulkner (R CAND, NY-15).

It’s pronounced ‘Michael:’ he’s running in Charlie Rangel’s seat, assuming of course that Charlie Rangel doesn’t get ousted in the primary itself.

I like our chances on this one. Rangel’s got a serious primary challenger, he’s got a very poor ethical reputation right now, and Faulkner’s the sort of candidate that you want to have on hand for a general election challenge when in a situation like this.

But you have to speculate to accumulate, as a wise man once said. Donation page for Rev. Faulkner here. His main sites are here and here.

Sure it’s also the year of the woman, but the media is willfully ignoring the great field of African American Republicans we have running for office.

I wish him lot of luck

The interesting thing is that Harlem is no longer african american its more hispanic now

  • conservativecrusade

if there are any numbers out there on a head to head between Rangel and Faulkner. Rangel is another guy I would love to see fired.

And would it not be sweet revenge to get one of the most bigoted, racist, scumbag, uncle toms out there beaten by a principled, conservative black republican with the guts to stand for what is right rather than to buy into the dems love the blacks crap!

  • ktsub

Could be the first black Republican from the south since Reconstruction. Love his commercials, command of conservative values. He is the future.

Check him out. Runnoff on June 22nd.

Let’s be realistic here. Rangel’s district is like D +40. No Republican will come remotely close to defeating Rangel. He should run as a Democrat and then vote like a Republican in the House.

…and I do not like your suggestion that there is something wrong with running as a Republican, even in a D+41 district. Don’t do it again here.

PS: No, this is not a topic for discussion.

I read about him a couple months ago and was very impressed.

I hope he wipes the floor with Rangel.

You can not like it all you want, but I’m free to give my opinion, or are only certain opinions allowed here? Censorship from people who claim to champion conservative ideals would be rather hypocritical now wouldn’t it?

My point is logical. A Republican will not win a D +40 district even if the Democrat was Satan himself. The smart thing for a conservative in the district to do would be to primary Rangel and knock him out that way and then get in the House and support the Republican agenda as a Democrat. In fact it’s the only way. Are you conservative first or Republican first?

This is our site, and you are not entitled to use our site to express your opinion. That’s free speech.

What, do you hate the Bill of Rights or something?

Our founding fathers pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honors to found this nation. If there was ever a politician in DC who displayed more contempt for the concept of sacred honor than Charlie Rangel, I don’t know who it could be.

He’s a crooked, corrupt politician who uses his seat to enrich himself and his buddies. He has voted to the detriment of our nation and for the furtherance of his own nest feathering. He is contemptible.

Good luck, Mr. Faulkner. And thank you for taking him on. The people of your district deserve better than Charlie Rangle (D – Self).

If you guys want to alienate people from supporting your cause, then go for it. That’s what you do when you behave this way. Why don’t you act like an adult instead of a school yard bully.

I want to see conservative candidates elected as much as you. In this particular case, I see a more logical approach to getting it done. Republicans typically get around 10% of the vote in this district. It’s an insurmountable barrier because of the partisanship of the voters, so conservatives need a different strategy. Bullying people for thinking outside the box and not marching in lock step with the rest of you is not helpful.

And it looks like you answered my question. Apparently you are Republican first and conservative second. That’s unfortunate.

When Moe told you it’s not up for discussion, he meant it.

And now that you’ve spewed all the same old whiny talk that shows us you don’t understand what property rights are, I’m ready to alienate you anyway.
