Rep. Ciro Rodriguez (D, TX-23) gets cranky.

Ah, to be an Entitlement Democrat these days. Apparently, Rep. Rodriguez is not particularly happy with the idea that his constituents are checked out on the CBO’s revised scoring of Obamacare. Or that they feel entitled themselves to talk back to the man.

Shouting, smacking a newspaper against the table, a general ‘Do you know who I AM?’ – is this what Nancy Pelosi meant when she encouraged Democrats to go home and push back on health care? If so, by all means: keep doing it.

The TX GOP reports (via the Francisco Conseco campaign) that this isn’t the first time Rodriguez has lost his temper.

    And I apologize in advance for taking up 3 responses already, but Moe, you’re too kind too with this guy.

    He’s a livewire who HATES opposition — look at how quickly he became inflamed when an intelligent woman challenges him.

    It took him all of 15 seconds to come within inches of striking that woman — a virtual stranger.

    Yes — striking. He realized what he was doing and quickly distanced himself.

    What’s with the body movement? Why is he standing over her when she’s merely sitting down?

    All intimidation — the yelling, the body language, the violence with the table — you see this repeatedly in the Hispanic community.

    I want everyone to know that this kind of machismo is exactly what most Hispanic women grow up with.

    They grow up intimidated by these kind of creeps, so much so, it’s no wonder some of the strongest ones emerge as radical as they do.

    Somewhere in their radical subconscious, they’re just following the same mero-mero machismo of “do as I say, do as I tell you!” of the Left — tho their actions in destroying this country are as indefensible as well.

    NO ONE should defend this guy.

    It’s abuse.

    He is on the same spectrum as the Islamic men who kill their daughters and consider it an “honor killing.”

    It’s machismo and it’s in their culture.

    Now .. anyone wanna discuss the deeper ramifications of illegal immigration??

    I’ll be damned if they’re all just “hard working men”!!

    Old Ciro probably went right home after this to beat his wife. Sounds like a real tough guy when fighting ladies.

    They should show this video on the floor of the House and all day long showing the typical disgraces that the Dems have in their core. Ciro and Stark now represent the Dem./Obama core.

    Can you imagine what would happen if a Republican representative went over to a table and smacked a newspaper on a ladie’s table if she asked why we couldn’t fund more BLACK PANTHERs or ACORN Obama Scholars?????

    There would be wall to wall articles in all the State Run media for weeks and weeks on how evil the Republican was for fighting against the quality Black Panther and ACORN movements.

    Remember how Lazio (who easily bested his opponent Hillary Clinton during a Senate debate) was crucified in 2000 by the media for picking on a helpless woman? He was guilty of walking over to her podium, setting down a piece of paper (a pledge, IIRC), and pointing at it for her to sign.

    Anyone care to place a bet on if those same critics will now go after Ciro Rodriguez, who was far more confrontational with his actions, words and body language than Lazio ever was, and Rodriguez’s intended victim was sitting down?

    He “represents” (using the term loosely) north San Antonio which is a conservative area out to the Hill Country on over to El Paso which is a pretty much part of Mexico. My parents live in his district and it was amazing to watch his last election. Lyle Larson was doing very well against him even though the Dems had all the advantages in 08. However, a couple of weeks before the election, Ciro started running a BS ad saying Larson wanted to raise taxes, etc. Typical lib lies. In 2010…he has a tough campaign against Quico Canseco.

    Some would say that the D stands for Democrat, but him it was always Dinosaur because he is one. I thought I said that I would like to be a fly on the wall Don Pedro’ Mexican restaurant for that. I had to deal with him twice and only break from having him as a Congressman for a short time(lost a Dem Primary in the 28th to Henry Cuellar in 2004[same year that Quico Canseco was the Republican nominee]). I never voted the guy in the Special election in 1997 or in later elections.

    and voted against him every chance I got. I can assure you that it was diffinally a Mexican restaurant on the Southside of SA. I can tell you wants across from it(a Valero gas station) and even what next door(Bud Jones). Let just say, he picked a bad place to do this. I once said “Hello” to Ciro once. The responce wasn’t nice.
