This is one of those memorable campaign ads. To set up: Joel Demos is the only Republican candidate in the MN-05 primary next week, which means that he’s going to be the Republican nominee to face off against Keith Ellison. And, trust me: Joel is fully aware of what that means.
Actually, you don’t have to trust me. You just have to watch his own campaign video.
I was hoping for an interview today, but Joel works for a living. Check again next week.

PS: Yes, you may safely assume that Joel could use whatever you can spare.

We gotta turn that district Red
Vassar Bushmills (Diary) Friday, August 6th at 5:12PM EDT (link)…and even if that guy loses, don;t lose him, GOP. He’s a winner.
Well need to have him send a message to Keith Ellison
Richard Mullins (Diary) Friday, August 6th at 5:52PM EDT (link)so having Joel Demos lose is not a good thing. Having a hurt on Obama’s best buddies is the one of the best things we can do.

Joe Biden is like a Decrepit Park owner with a Meth lab that happens to not only be a dealer but a user.
Let’s Bankrupt the Democratic paty. Make spend all the money to defend thier candidates.
WHAT IS HIS POSITION ON CARBON CREDITS?
mblack Friday, August 6th at 5:23PM EDT (link)Who the hell cares he has A MONSTER TRUCK IN HIS CAMPAIGN AD!!!! F-IN AWESOME!! This dude rocks!!! DEMOS! DEMOS! DEMOS!
I hope Señor Hip Hop & his media crew grab a clue over at the RNC.
This is like the Ag guy in ‘Bama, that too was a bad ass commercial.
Going to his website now
mblack, was thinkin AL as well
tngal (Diary) Friday, August 6th at 6:01PM EDT (link)very memorable ad. This grabs the attention more than the usual standing around in a suit. Hope it captures the mood of the voters. Looks like the ad companies are either getting fresh blood or willing to take a chance on new ideas.
(thought I heard a thump.Did he run over somethin)
The perfect campaign message
Wine Country Dog (Diary) Friday, August 6th at 6:07PM EDT (link)Underdog. Uphill challenge. Family man. Regular guy. Working man. Issues based message. No personal attacks. Firmly ties his opponent to big $pender 0bama’s agenda. Photography, challenge music, right tone of narration then Joel comes on and finishes it off with a diverse group backing him. If there was an unbiased (fat chance or slim chance, take your choice) academy award for political commercials this one would win!
I was starting to sweat just watching Joel, then when all those other people joined in – WOW! This is precisely the kind of person we need on our side! I’m going to send something – may not be much, I’m not in good finances (directly thanks to the golfer in chief’s fundamental lack integrity and economic smarts) but I want to be a part of this battle.
Change we can step in!
woof!
Yeah!!
lukematthews (Diary) Saturday, August 7th at 10:05AM EDT (link)This guy is extremely gutsy. He’s running in my really far left congressional district that is 87% Minneapolis and 71% Democratic. It is so out of the mainstream that our city’s ‘alternative’ party is the Green Party, not the Republican party. But, regardless, we are working hard to make the Democrats sweat and worry.
Last election’s GOP nominee has changed parties and is running for the DFL (Democratic Farmer-Labor) primary nomination this coming Tuesday. She’s also dynamite. She’s a very conservative black woman who knows the black population of the district would never vote for a Republican but is gaining traction as a black conservative DFLer. We are seeing more and more signs for her crop up around the neighborhoods.
We are taking this fight even into the bastions of liberalism.
I can see liberals weeping from my window.
