Moonbeam Brown protested at Code Pink shindig.

This report of a lie-in by pro-victory in Iraq protesters at a fundraiser held for Jerry Brown by notorious terrorist sympathizer Jodie Evans highlights a very, very serious set of questions involving not only Brown’s associations, but also his own motivations. The fact that Brown is attempting to get Code Pink’s money like this leads to various questions:

  • Jodie Evans once reportedly told a Gold Star Mother that her son deserved to die in Iraq. Does Jerry Brown agree with her?
  • Evans was a long-time supporter of genocidal mass murderer Saddam Hussein; as recently as the summer of 2008 she was nostalgic for a regime that routinely murdered, raped, and ethnically cleansed its internal enemies.  Is Jerry Brown likewise nostalgic for the days of pogroms and acts of ecocide against the Marsh Arabs?
  • Evans sat on the advisory board of International Occupation Watch, a group that conspired to convince US soldiers to desert.  Jerry Brown: pro- or anti-desertion? Excuse me: “conscientious objection.”
  • Jodie Evans’ Code Pink planned and brought off “protests” designed to attack critically wounded, recovering soldiers and their families.  What method does Jerry Brown use to keep from throwing his drink in Jodie Evans’ face?  Does he need one?
  • In 2009, Evans  helped provide material aid to Hamas in Gaza.  Are some of Jerry Brown’s best friends Jews?
  • As is exhaustively noted here, Jodie Evans and Jerry Brown have had a long, long shared political history.  Where does Jerry Brown differ from her?  Specific examples, please: we already know that he likes her money.

This would be the point where there is usually a pro forma statement that of course one can’t assume that enthusiastically taking the money of a pro-terrorist, radical, America-hating, troop-hating, Jew-hating nutjob means that one subscribes to said nutjob’s pro-terrorist, radical, America-hating, troop-hating, Jew-hating agenda.  On the other hand, it’s Moonbeam Brown.  The question isn’t whether he agrees with Evans: the question is whether he’d ever have the opportunity to do something about it.  I think that it would be best if that stayed an academic question…

PS: Hey!  You know who isn’t taking money from a pro-terrorist, radical, America-hating, troop-hating, Jew-hating nutjob?  Meg Whitman!

Jerry loves him some terrorists, but Meg loves her some Illegals. I am voting for Chelene Nightingale and she is making both Meg and Moonbeen nervous. Anyone hear they called off a debate? It is rumored with 3 ‘witnesses’ that it was because Chelene’s sudden surge in popularity. CA, I live here, Meg or Jerry it doesn’t matter either will be disastrous for us. Just once CA, ummm wake up and go with a no-brand, no-name candidate, come on it’s not rocket science to figure out either of these candidates will continue our destruction. That, was my Humble Opinion and I am entitled to it.

California is not a dyed red socialist state. California is a very squishy state because it has a big, squishy middle of voters.

There have been a number of jokes about what to do with the “former Californians” who have been .. infesting .. Colorado, Texas, Oregon, etc. now that they’ve been priced out of Cali proper.

Would you say California has exported more liberals or conservatives or mush-for-brains squishies?

Someplace else, they’d be reliable Republican votes; the menfolk at least talk a good fight as conservatives. But, CA’s social welfare schemes are so lucrative that they won’t vote for anybody who won’t promise to preserve and protect all the spending programs, which makes them vote Democrat.

Alaska has very lucrative social welfare programs too, but there is still some stigma attached to using them, particularly if you’re white. There is NO stigma in CA that I can see. It is almost a badge of merit to be able to take maximum advantage.

Were from the larger coastal cities. Guilt has ridden in most of the local elections that reflect up ticket. They pimp out children and old folks to get the spending programs. I agree with Art to an extent, the progranms are there and available for anyone to get their “fair” share. Most people think that if they paid into a system they should be able to get whatever programs they’re able to before the money is gone.
When a city or school district is running short of money the first sertvices that are cut are the critical ones, i.e. police, fire etc. Then they hold a tax increase (always temporary) as the only solution.
Back to the point, the vast majority of Californians have been beaten into submission and are just now coming out of the bomb shelter. The Central Valley, if they show up in numbers, will make a great day for Republicans. San Fran and Los Angeles can only carry the libs so far, they have been a huge block of votes for any socialist program that comes around. If you look at the Sec. of State’s breakdown by congressional district on propositions or for Statewide and Federal offices the margins in a few districts are real eye openers.
