Interview: Rep. Kevin McCarthy and NRCC recruitment.

As the timestamp shows, we actually had this interview earlier in the month; given that Rep. McCarthy has been doing a series of posts about his road trips on behalf of candidates this election season, I decided that it was long past time that I got the interview actually up. In it we talk about the general details of recruitment, and how it’s been going this cycle.

The NRCC’s site is here.

McCarthy was the principal author of the “Pledge to America.”

Now please stop attempting to sow discord among members of the Republican party in order to encourage interest in the Libertarian one. You will now say “Yes, Moe” and obey.

Indicate your understanding of this in your next post.

For using my super-secret Libertarian mind-control subliminal messages. I’ll try to work on that in the future. I’m planning on voting a Republican straight ticket in November – if you’re going to ostracize people for not being registered Republicans, you aren’t helping your whole “our movement is composed of Republicans, Democrats, and independents” stuff very much. I could also point out that if you were merely in the business of being purely partisan Republicans, solely interested in electing candidates with an (R) next to their name, you really dropped the ball in Delaware. I am here merely pointing out that McCarthy is the principal author of the “Pledge,” which is hardly a secret; he brags about it on this very site:

Mercy for *this* one is unlikely to happen, by the way.
