Shocker: IL-08 Pledge-hater also OfA drone.

A follow-up to yesterday’s post on the Pledge scandal in IL-08: it turns out that the League of Women Voters moderator (one Kathy Tate-Bradish) just happened to be a hardcore OfA member and Obama supporter.  Everybody shocked, raise your hands… no, me neither.  Admit it: you didn’t even think that she was anything except a typical Democratic elitist, right?  And, oddly enough, you were clearly right to think that.

Also, guess what?  The local LWV grand poobah thinks that the whole thing was a Republican plot.  I don’t know what’s funnier: that the Democrats think that we’re plotting against them, or that they’re conceding that making Democrats recite the Pledge of Allegiance is a successful slam against their political party…

PS: Joe Walsh for IL-08.

    this is just funny.

(I’m not a birther. I’m just amused by the irony.)

and continue her fight against European colonialism, capitalism, and the Pledge of Allegiance from there.

the linked article, but my laptop leaned to the left and slid to the floor. I had to come back to RedState for my laptop work right again….

    It was weird….

This is just the same sad story we’ve seen at AARP, NRA, and others…

Enough Lib useful idiots get into positions of power at “non-aligned” outfits like the League and .. even without any coordination, they spout the right lines, are offended at the right times, etc.

It’s despicable. It’s also what happens when Conservatives disengage…

truly are the Party of ignorance! I cannot believe that anyone, anywhere in any State would think that saying the Pledge of Allegiance to the United States of America is a “plot”. Good God what in the hell has happened to those people, what Country were they raised in? and what were they raised by? I mean I know their leader was raised by Marxist’s but were they all?

If they can’t stand words like flag ,republic, under GOD, liberty, and justice in the pledge, its easy to see how they get bent over the BIG piece of paper.

I was invited to join the League of Women Voters….I told them I was not a Democrat and they looked surprisingly at me and said “it is a neutral organizaton and takes no political stands.”

    Honestly, that’s what they said….i………ncredible isn’t it.

They love to call us Tea Partyers racists, islamophobic, homophobic, and all other names, it is time to label them for what they are.

…was the point about her making several trips to Kenya, to teach – and taking them autographed pictures of Barack and Michelle-My-Belle.

Otherwise, I couldn’t stand to read the rest of it, either…

    censorship, dictatorship, and tyranny.

The best thing about little o’s election is the above has finally been exposed as communist tripe.

It’s the last time a cons. will get fired for saying blacks under perform in education and foreigners should learn Am. hist. and English.

…in the Daily Herald story about the LWV poobah Moe linked to? A perfect snapshot of what we’re up against. Libs lecturing on why the Pledge should not have been recited. One dude threatens that he would have taken down the “teabagger” who asked about the Pledge. Absolutely sickening!

PS: Funny, how all the Progs are so brave behind a keyboard. Or when beating up on disabled tea partiers.

setting garbage on fire and breaking windows to protest “globalism,” which many of them travel thousands of miles to do with no sense of irony whatever.

But face to face they are like scared children. Except of course the union thugs, who are professional leg-breakers.

for more information about how “strictly non-partisan” the organization is.

Enjoy the cheering section on community activism, which celebrates the work of LWV memebers who “run large print newspaper ads encouraging Senators to continue to work toward a bill that adequately addresses the worldwide climate crisis.”

Right there is all I need to know. Any organization that asks Senators (feds) to work toward a bill (cram legislation through secret committees) to address a worldwide (George Soros’ World) climate crisis (invented by Al Gore) is about as “non-partisan” as Howard Dean.

I’ve met these women. They are intolerant of any dissenting opinion on their pet issues, they DESPISE military mothers and they “care” about poverty and hunger, while they all carry $400 Coach purses.

“I Pledge Allegiance, to the flag …” (meow)

Went to watch the beloved Spartans(Sorry, Cats!).

We were all over the place from Bolingbrook to Skokie/Evanston to the North Shore. Couple of observations. First, the Kirk/Crook, er, I mean, Alexi race is just as ugly as you can imagine. One negative ad after another. If there was an Alexi ad up it was followed by a Kirk ad and vice versa. Even made watching football less enjoyable. Of course I’m biased but it did seem to me the Kirk attacks are a little more substantive and hard hitting. Other than the military thing which I don’t even think is that big a deal don’t think they have much on Kirk. Seems GOP might have momentum.

On the Congressional side, lots of negative ads against Republican candidates Schilling, Walsh, Dold, and Hultgren all funded by DCCC. Seems they have made Chicagoland a big firewall. The ads were a little desperate, though, and remarkably similar, e.g. “Republican ________ is just too extreme!” Seemed like all of a sudden Right to Abortion is their big message. Like I said to my wife, “Who is even talking about abortion in this election?” What a joke. Since they have limited resources it appears this is where they are making their final stand.
