Your feel-good election post of the weekend.

What a title: “Grim Democrats await huge House losses.”  Not nearly as much as we are, of course: but they’re frantically counting up their likely losses, and forecasting fifty to seventy (which means, obviously, that we need to increase that to seventy to ninety).  At this point, the consensus seems to be among a variety of remaining-nameless professional Democrats that everyone in the House within the margin of error is going to lose to the Republican nominee.  These people are on the verge of watching a large percentage of their client list – and in many cases, friends and members of their social circle – be thrown out of work right in the middle of one of the most toxic employment environments in recent history.  And they’ve been fighting it for a year and nothing worked.

Now, some of you (more of you, I suspect, than are willing to admit it) read the paragraph above, read the article that it links to, and then started to feel… pity.  Or empathy, because it happened to you in 2006 and 2008.  Or merely a natural desire to not kick someone when they are down.  And those are laudable impulses to have.  But before you act on those impulses with regard to these professional Democrats, please remember this:

  • These people told their clients to say that you hate African-Americans.
  • These people told their clients to say that you hate Latinos.
  • These people told their clients to say that you hate gays.
  • These people told their clients to say that you hate women.
  • These people told their clients to say that you hate Jews.
  • These people told their clients to say that you hate Muslims.
  • These people told their clients to say that you hate the poor.
  • These people told their clients to say that you hate America.

Shall I continue?

  • These people told their clients to say that you were fascists.
  • These people told their clients to say that you were theocrats.
  • These people told their clients to say that you were stupid.
  • These people told their clients to say that you were uneducated.
  • These people told their clients to say that you were hatemongers.
  • These people told their clients to say that you were insane.
  • These people told their clients to say that you were violent extremists.

I can keep this going for quite a while, you know.

  • These people told their clients to call you unpatriotic.
  • These people told their clients to call you cowards.
  • These people told their clients to mock you at every opportunity.
  • These people told their clients to deliberately use a sexual slur when referring to you.
  • These people told their clients to trivialize and dismiss your concerns at every opportunity.

And now these professional Democrats are sad because they’re going to lose.  Well, they deserve to lose.  Because they’re bad people.  And because the entire point of the United States of America is to make sure that bad people lose.  So go vote on Tuesday, and make as many bad people as possible lose.

Righteously.

Always loved that song!

Moe’s right. And remember that the Democrats were the ones who implemented policies that burdened our friends and neighbors into unemployment, disillusionment & desperation.

Please watch and share this video, where ordinary Americans talk and cry about their struggles. WARNING: this may be HEARTBREAKING TO WATCH.

Don't kick a man when he is down

Beaglescout (Diary) Sunday, October 31st at 6:19PM EDT (link)

That was the agreement between honorable men. But these are not honorable men. They are men whose only goal is power. Metaphorically speaking, when they are down and laying on their backs that is the time to finish them off. Put them out of their misery. That way it will hurt them less than by a prolonged struggle.

Macchiavelli knew how power works in an atmosphere of every man against his neighbor. That’s how the Democrats work. That’s how they must be treated.

Moe that was the feel-good election sentence of the weekend.

Those who had once simpered: “I don’t want to destroy the rich, I only want to seize a little of their surplus to help the poor, just a little, they’ll never miss it!” – then, later, had snapped: “The tycoons can stand being squeezed; they’ve amassed enough to last them for three generations” – then, later, had yelled: “Why should the people suffer while businessmen have reserves to last a year?” – now were screaming: “Why should we starve while some people have reserves to last a week?” – Atlas Shrugged

No, really. I have great neighbors who are liberals. They have their lawn signs out for the opponent of the candidate I am supporting. That’s America, and that’s okay.

Tonight, children from our suburban No Va ‘ hood are out trick-or-treating (my own kids have outgrown the custom, just to break my fragile heart) and my neighbors and I have a chance to taunt one another.

My very Lliberal neighbor just yelled across the street, “Hey, Conservative, I’m planning to steal your yard signs tonight.” “Go ahead, Liberal, I yelled back, I’m planning to sell my house to the Duggars and their 19 kids and they have lots more yard signs!”

My conservative candidate will win. Theirs will lose. And we’ll still lend each other power tools and cups of sugar and hugs when someone’s elderly aunt passes away.

That’s why I love America, the greatest Nation on this Earth.

All day FOX has been touting the Democrats and “how they are closing in.” Shepard Smith is over the top…here are some of his statements: “the controversial” Michelle Bachman, Sarah Palin “who quit as governor,” Jerry Brown “who is taking over in California,” and he told Chris Wallace there was “nothing to the dust up in Alaska over the radio station!” Chris came back and said “there IS something to it.” I am wondering what happened to fair and balanced??

scorpio0679 (Diary) Sunday, October 31st at 9:20PM EDT (link)

My wife (who is registered No Party Affiliation but who, in my estimation, leans liberal) announced to me today that she wouldn’t vote. I asked her: WHAT? Why? Her answer was she can’t decide what to do, she doesn’t know enough about any of the issues, and so she couldn’t make a decision.

I asked her to PLEASE for this one time, trust me and vote for at a minimum, Marco Rubio and Sandy Adams, and if you can stomach it please, for Rick Scott as well.

After I reminded her of what our IRS bill was this year, she agreed.

I hope that things like this is happening across the country. I hope.

Another anecdote

tollen Monday, November 1st at 12:15AM EDT (link)

One of my young employees does not vote, unless I beg, which I quit doing two-three years ago.

This year, she brought her ballot envelope to office, all filled in and stamped!
And she voted conservatively, against income tax for WA, for private liquor stores, for privatizing workers’ comp! YEAH

Just make sure

1.) Don’t listen to the RINO’s! Don’t bring them in as advisors.
2.) Clean house on day one! Get rid of the leftist holdovers, ALL of them!
3.) Work with the Conservative-noun Congress, bring a big AX! Better yet a chainsaw, start chopping at the Leviathan, No mercy!
4.) Give GROWTH a big jumpstart by reducing taxes and sweeping reams of regulations out the door. Regulations we won’t need anyway because we don’t have the government employees to emplement them.

After Tuesday I can’t wait for the next 2 years to unfold! That unfolding will bring an even more exciting future!

It’s Novemeber 1st here in Slovakia, you still have 30 minutes to wait on the East Coast. and I CAN SEE IT FROM MY HOUSE!!!!!

Proud to be an American

northernrockiesguy Sunday, October 31st at 10:58PM EDT (link)

George W Bush seemed so at ease driving the vehicle. You can tell he has spent alot of time in his Ford pickup…..hope you noticed the short snappy salute he gave when passing servicemen. We were in the presence of 3 real and genuine gentlemen. It makes me so proud to be an American, as well as a Texian.

I agree with nivlem…there were things on which I disagreed with Dubya, but it was so nice to see a president who loves this country and the American people. PLUS he had on appropriate jeans and can throw a ball right over the plate (eat your heart out Obama).

NOT kick 'em ??

america1st (Diary) Sunday, October 31st at 11:23PM EDT (link)

Heck, in my household, the final traces of that impulse died circa 1994 ! Now my inclination is to kick until they are insensible (not just their views), drench in gasoline, drop a match and take video while singing “Oh, what a beautiful morning! Oh, what a beautiful day!”

Figuratively, off course. For now.

Logic in the mind of a liberal is like a snowflake in the desert: lost, alone and soon destroyed by a hostile environment.

I mock their pain

I feel about them exactly what I felt about Hitler’s general staff.

No mercy.

No quarter.

No survivors.

What lifetime benefits

What are the lifetime benefits these losers are gifted for the disservice?

I vote for a one-way ticket to Alcatraz for everyone of them, nt.

Great reminder of who we are standing against

runner12 (Diary) Monday, November 1st at 10:14AM EDT (link)

The Dems (and even some Repubs) have shifted from being liberal to being socialist progressives. They have a fundamentally different view of what this country should be and it is a far cry from what our Founding Fathers intended. They belittle and slander anyone who dares to disagree with them. They twist the Consitution and the law to fit their agenda. I do not have one ounce of pity when it comes to them losing their jobs. In fact, I am looking forward to helping them out the door by proudly voting tomorrow. As a citizen, I say don’t let the door hit your butt on the way out. As a Christian, I pray that they truly experience a change of heart and change for the better. Lord knows they must be miserable people. But they can do that as a private citizen, not as a politician :) .

Rush just got done reading Moe's Diary

izoneguy (Diary) Monday, November 1st at 12:48PM EDT (link)

And he read it with style & flair that only Rush can deliver!

If someone takes a job tasked to burn your house down, you are entitled to feel happy when they lose their job

Did you know that China has been losing manufacturing jobs since 1995? For the specific data, see Table 1 in the following link: http://www.bls.gov/opub/mlr/2005/07/art2full.pdf

Exactly

Doing your part to make Dem electoral prospects go up in smoke is akin to stopping a contract killing. Of course, that means that the idiots who screwed up the last time will largely be the ones in charge, but c’est la vie. At least we get to send up some freshman Congressmen to help DeMint out.

They'll go home (or to K Street), wanting to settle into their new roles,

Locked and Loaded (Diary) Monday, November 1st at 1:55PM EDT (link)

expecting these endeavors to also be replete with the same perks and adoration (Didn’t they earn it, after all?). We must be watchful and remember. This is the time for the real rib-kicking to begin.

No GM, GE, or any GSE for me.

Don’t I have the right to do what I want with my own money? Or are you envious because I am generous?
