FRONT PAGE CONTRIBUTOR

Your feel-good election post of the weekend.

What a title: “Grim Democrats await huge House losses.”  Not nearly as much as we are, of course: but they’re frantically counting up their likely losses, and forecasting fifty to seventy (which means, obviously, that we need to increase that to seventy to ninety).  At this point, the consensus seems to be among a variety of remaining-nameless professional Democrats that everyone in the House within the margin of error is going to lose to the Republican nominee.  These people are on the verge of watching a large percentage of their client list – and in many cases, friends and members of their social circle – be thrown out of work right in the middle of one of the most toxic employment environments in recent history.  And they’ve been fighting it for a year and nothing worked.

Now, some of you (more of you, I suspect, than are willing to admit it) read the paragraph above, read the article that it links to, and then started to feel… pity.  Or empathy, because it happened to you in 2006 and 2008.  Or merely a natural desire to not kick someone when they are down.  And those are laudable impulses to have.  But before you act on those impulses with regard to these professional Democrats, please remember this:

  • These people told their clients to say that you hate African-Americans.
  • These people told their clients to say that you hate Latinos.
  • These people told their clients to say that you hate gays.
  • These people told their clients to say that you hate women.
  • These people told their clients to say that you hate Jews.
  • These people told their clients to say that you hate Muslims.
  • These people told their clients to say that you hate the poor.
  • These people told their clients to say that you hate America.

Shall I continue?

  • These people told their clients to say that you were fascists.
  • These people told their clients to say that you were theocrats.
  • These people told their clients to say that you were stupid.
  • These people told their clients to say that you were uneducated.
  • These people told their clients to say that you were hatemongers.
  • These people told their clients to say that you were insane.
  • These people told their clients to say that you were violent extremists.

I can keep this going for quite a while, you know.

  • These people told their clients to call you unpatriotic.
  • These people told their clients to call you cowards.
  • These people told their clients to mock you at every opportunity.
  • These people told their clients to deliberately use a sexual slur when referring to you.
  • These people told their clients to trivialize and dismiss your concerns at every opportunity.

And now these professional Democrats are sad because they’re going to lose.  Well, they deserve to lose.  Because they’re bad people.  And because the entire point of the United States of America is to make sure that bad people lose.  So go vote on Tuesday, and make as many bad people as possible lose.

Righteously.

That was the agreement between honorable men. But these are not honorable men. They are men whose only goal is power. Metaphorically speaking, when they are down and laying on their backs that is the time to finish them off. Put them out of their misery. That way it will hurt them less than by a prolonged struggle.

Macchiavelli knew how power works in an atmosphere of every man against his neighbor. That’s how the Democrats work. That’s how they must be treated.

Moe that was the feel-good election sentence of the weekend.

I don’t know what I would’ve done without people like you Moe (and Eric,Neal,Lori,Vladamir and cast of patriots all of whom I can’t name here). But,once again, thank you all from the bottom of my heart!!

That’s a headline I’d like to see Wednesday, in Deleware.

Write in Candidate Admitted to Hospital after Election Defeat. Screams at Ambulance Attendants, “But Daddy Promised It Was Mine”, in Alaska.

In Nevada, Senate Leader Angrily Tells Reporter Big F Deal before leaving for Ritz Carlton after Loss to Tea Party Challenger.

(No, I don’t pity them Moe. I got a bwahahaha thing going on right now and am reveling in it. Realistically know we’ll lose a few but will win so many more. )

There’s little left for Joe Biden and other Dems to do but wait for the expected losses of Election Day.

You know things are going to be epic when even Politico is writing things like this.

?Everybody that is tied will lose, and everyone that is ahead by a few points will lose because of the GOP wave,? said one party media consultant who is involved in a wide array of House races. ?There are going to be some surprises.?

I can’t recall ever reading something that pessimistic just before an election.

This is going to be one we will tell our grandchildren about.

  • pamela1631

Will be very busy in the next few months.

One thing they forgot is Americans don’t like being cornered by bullies. We are forged from centuries of past oppressions all across the world.

The other thing they forgot was piss us off too badly and we get even.
You come after our families and the Good Lord help you.
They came after our families with all their we know better than you attitudes and schemes.

  • JadedByPolitics

for WE The People of these UNITED States of America….come Wednesday there will be a blue America and a red America and the red America will be pulling us back from the clutches of devastation wreaked by blue America!

Sympathy? NEVER…what they have forced on us to the tune of thousands of dollars in additional taxes and healthcare costs to “spread the wealth” to those who would never get up at 5AM and work until 5PM each and every day year after year to get to a point in their own lives that they can finally do the things they have always wanted to do. They decided that I could no longer do that, that I must pay for some slackers way through life well I am saying HELL NO!

I as well want to see a Republican Party that STOPS too big to fail because if I can fail, Bank of America can fail, they don’t get that, then they too will be sent home!

  • Tbone

I can email them fool proof instructions.

  • proudmarinemom

No, really. I have great neighbors who are liberals. They have their lawn signs out for the opponent of the candidate I am supporting. That’s America, and that’s okay.

Tonight, children from our suburban No Va ‘ hood are out trick-or-treating (my own kids have outgrown the custom, just to break my fragile heart) and my neighbors and I have a chance to taunt one another.

My very Lliberal neighbor just yelled across the street, “Hey, Conservative, I’m planning to steal your yard signs tonight.” “Go ahead, Liberal, I yelled back, I’m planning to sell my house to the Duggars and their 19 kids and they have lots more yard signs!”

My conservative candidate will win. Theirs will lose. And we’ll still lend each other power tools and cups of sugar and hugs when someone’s elderly aunt passes away.

That’s why I love America, the greatest Nation on this Earth.

  • ocleverone
  • neomom

Why? Because they are part of the problem too. And there is a 99% chance that they believe all those things about us, just like their bosses do.

Welcome to unemployment like about 18% of the rest of us.

Who won this time, Mr. President?

?Here?s the part of this that bothers me the most: This is not an embracing of Republicans. It?s a rejection of Democrats,? said Andrew Myers, a veteran Democratic pollster who worked on several House campaigns.

Also realize that the unspoken admission is that he is clueless as to why the American People are rejecting the Democrats. That is why it bothers him the most.

Oh, nope don’t feel sorry for them at all. I plan to watch election results on MSNBC so I can enjoy the agony of their defeat.

Nobody can give up. This is the beginning of the next 100 years, not the end of a hundred years of battle. We lost the last 100 years worth of fighting because we didn’t fight effectively. Now it’s time to learn our lessons and fight back harder and better until the marxists are destroyed.

  • annas

It is good to come here and hear some encouraging words! All day FOX has been touting the Democrats and “how they are closing in.” Shepard Smith is over the top…here are some of his statements: “the controversial” Michelle Bachman, Sarah Palin “who quit as governor,” Jerry Brown “who is taking over in California,” and he told Chris Wallace there was “nothing to the dust up in Alaska over the radio station!” Chris came back and said “there IS something to it.” I am wondering what happened to fair and balanced??

  • renny

and since they can’t run on taxes, that they love, they have to run on the other three. Somehow it has never dawned on the Dems. that calling millions of ordinary Americans racists, homophobes, and women haters is not a good campaign strategy, On Tues. night, I rest my case.

I feel no pity whatsoever for these liberals losing their jobs. In fact, I’ve been telling the thugs working for Suzanne Kosmas for a year now that they needed to update their resume. I don’t want them living on the dole like the rest of the slackers who voted for her in 2008.

is seeing all these naysayers like PPP coming late to the party so they don’t look stupid on Wednesday morning. Stories like “Paul headed for easy victory”, http://publicpolicypolling.blogspot.com/2010/10/paul-headed-for-easy-victory.html, and stories like “GOP headed for PA sweep”, http://publicpolicypolling.blogspot.com/2010/10/gop-headed-for-pa-sweep.html. Even the NYT has a story out tomorrow, according to Drudge, about how both parties think the House sweep may be even bigger than people were recently talking about.

  • tngal

This is a feel good, gutsy move. Depsite everything they’re calling us and our candidates, the dems are worried. And they’re taking their wrath out on Christine O. Biden is planing another visit to DE tomorrow! Why? I thought she was no threat and trailing in polls? So Christine is taking out 30 MINUTE ads. One tonight and two tomorrow. If anyone in DE catches it please report back on how well you thought it went over. The dems have been bad this year, as Moe points out, but they’ve been really bad to her. Go get ‘em Christine.

My wife (who is registered No Party Affiliation but who, in my estimation, leans liberal) announced to me today that she wouldn’t vote. I asked her: WHAT? Why? Her answer was she can’t decide what to do, she doesn’t know enough about any of the issues, and so she couldn’t make a decision.

I asked her to PLEASE for this one time, trust me and vote for at a minimum, Marco Rubio and Sandy Adams, and if you can stomach it please, for Rick Scott as well.

After I reminded her of what our IRS bill was this year, she agreed.

I hope that things like this is happening across the country. I hope.

What I noticed immediately was Duyba was driving. I remember he’s also commented about carrying around the pooper-scooper for Barney and Miss Beazly since going back to Texas, He, like President Reagan, chops his own wood and doesn’t mind getting his hands dirty.

I remember reading a biography on H.W. Bush how when he was young he had a back-breaking summer job of painting over advertising signs along the highway, in the hot, humid, Texas sun. Though each had parents who were well-off financially, they were taught the value of work, and did the same with their own children.

Way to fire it in there, President Bush!

  • SoFiMil

It was only last year Bush 41 was jumping out of an airplane.

they could be my brother and my father. No pomp – no circumstance – it is just a simple moment in life. A moment they have worked for. To them at that moment, they are small compared to those men on the field, and are humbled to be getting the spotlight, when others have worked so hard and sacrificed so much.

This is why we have a love/hate relationship with both President Bush 41 and 43. We disagree with some of their decisions, but love them for who they are.

They are and always have held the American people in high esteem, and represented themselves in a manner we would be proud of.

This video swelled my heart with pride. This is what American is all about.

Heck, in my household, the final traces of that impulse died circa 1994 ! Now my inclination is to kick until they are insensible (not just their views), drench in gasoline, drop a match and take video while singing “Oh, what a beautiful morning! Oh, what a beautiful day!”

One of my young employees does not vote, unless I beg, which I quit doing two-three years ago.

….who could have been fantastic men on a political level too but for the lack of “noun” after Conservative. Let the next conservative-noun President take note…

1.) Don’t listen to the RINO’s! Don’t bring them in as advisors.
2.) Clean house on day one! Get rid of the leftist holdovers, ALL of them!
3.) Work with the Conservative-noun Congress, bring a big AX! Better yet a chainsaw, start chopping at the Leviathan, No mercy!
4.) Give GROWTH a big jumpstart by reducing taxes and sweeping reams of regulations out the door. Regulations we won’t need anyway because we don’t have the government employees to emplement them.

After Tuesday I can’t wait for the next 2 years to unfold! That unfolding will bring an even more exciting future!

It’s Novemeber 1st here in Slovakia, you still have 30 minutes to wait on the East Coast. and I CAN SEE IT FROM MY HOUSE!!!!!

The Dems (and even some Repubs) have shifted from being liberal to being socialist progressives. They have a fundamentally different view of what this country should be and it is a far cry from what our Founding Fathers intended. They belittle and slander anyone who dares to disagree with them. They twist the Consitution and the law to fit their agenda. I do not have one ounce of pity when it comes to them losing their jobs. In fact, I am looking forward to helping them out the door by proudly voting tomorrow. As a citizen, I say don’t let the door hit your butt on the way out. As a Christian, I pray that they truly experience a change of heart and change for the better. Lord knows they must be miserable people. But they can do that as a private citizen, not as a politician :) .
