Of course the plan would also require mandated contributions from us working stiffs much like you’re required to pay into Social Security as Hair explains elsewhere in the article.

As of this writing I haven’t had time yet to see if it gained any traction in the lame duck session, got sneaked into something else, or if it’s scheduled to be brought up this year.

This whole attack against the Right is nothing more than a CYA for the Left….. their chance for a riteous ‘get-back’ for all the losses they took with the true success of theTea Party election in November!!

BUT thanks to OUR CONSTANT ragging and whining, our dragging in the Professionals, …and foot-stomping ..and finger-wagging on the hypocrisy of their mean, and unfair name-calling….. now look at how successful they have become!!!

Let the new Congress stop their frivolous attempts to derail our 1st and 2nd Ammendments now, or at least slow them down until reinforcements come, from the 2012 elections. Let’s put this whole horrible episode behind us and move on to the BIG stuff, like health care, and the Fed money-printing that is cutting us off at the knees, etc., etc…..

Their true color always comes out YELLOW. The left is yellow in tht they never have original thoughts. The only way they can counter any statement that makes them look bad is to point the finger in some other direction. Immediately when Ms. Giffords was shot there was no concern for Crystal from the left they only wanted to make sure the Right got blamed for the shooting. Even today after it has been proven that Loughner was a Liberal and after Crystals father had made a statement that he did not want this to turn into an anti-gun situation, the left is pushing that the reason for the shooting is the gun laws and the rhetoric from the Conservative radio host. They do not want to miss a chance to lose a bad situation to promote their agenda. They do not want the truth to interfere with them.

I think we need a petition to get Bernie Sanders committed for mental observation. I see in him the same potential for violence as Jared Loughner based on his irrational ramblings and ideology. Maybe also Dennis Kucinich.

Kook left fringe conspiracy nut goes after easy to access person at local town hall type of meeting. What happens when more of those with a similar mental setup start seeing (in their view) corruption and exploitation by politicians of their side as “just as bad they’re all the same”? Or even worse for everyone is the view of some conspiracy setups is that their really is no left/right it’s all choreographed etc…

By pushing anything to hurt Bush regarding 9/11 (and the war efforts and just about literally anything else he did or supported) the left has set us all up for more of the same from more like this guy.

How can we prevent more of this sort of tragedy? Not much that can be done beyond talking to people on the fringe and making them challenge their own assumptions and reason themselves back from the abyss. Good luck with that. Otherwise the two alternatives are do nothing or report anyone “strange” for a possible future crime…

Can you imagine what a field day the press and the left would have if the NRA decided to use this tragedy to raise money to defend the gun rights that they know will be under attack after this incident..Yet half the Democrats along with moveon.org and the other lefty groups will not hesitate to use this to raise money.
