NY-26 Results Open Thread.

[THIRD UPDATE]  And AP calls it for Hochul.  Pity.  We will no doubt hear in short order about how this is a veritable stake through conservatism, the Right, the Tea Party, the Republican party, George W Bush, and probably the Easter Bunny.  If that bugs you: well, this is defeat.  Avoid it.

[SECOND UPDATE]: Folks, you may want to step back from this one for a half hour or so until they’ve fixed whatever hiccups are going on in reporting the results.

Finding a link to updated election results now.

UPDATE: AP should do: they were reasonably quick in the WI Supreme Court race.

the resemblance to the Wisconsin Supreme race doesn’t emd there.

  • bags64

    relatively speaking, right?

Any idea how many total votes to expect?

  • http://www.usdebateboard.com usdebateboard

Will be for the unions to bankroll TWO candidates. A Democrat and a fake Tea Party candidate. If you pay union dues, bend over and grab your ankles.

  • TxCon

For the Tea party bit in this race?

  • libertardo

I’ve got a terrible, miserable progressive blog (that Ill not name) open in another tab. My night is going to be made as I see the comments “progress” from cheerful popcorn eaters to raving lunatics.

  • proudgop

the voter patterns aren’t looking good only 11% is in and Corwin is down 50% to 41% but she is not doing as well as she needs to in Monroe or other counties and Dem is winning Erie as expected

  • libertardo

as Davis’ percentage decreased. Doesn’t bode well. :-(

  • Doc Holliday

but I agree with you, the Dems should run artificial tea candidates in every race.

  • TxCon

NY-26. What is wrong with you people?

There are equal precints in Erie and Monroe out and Corwin is barely winning Monroe while Dem is getting close to 60% in Erie which has more votes to begine with

31% vote in Dems has almost 6000 vote lead and is at 50% which is bad for us

  • proudgop

    Hochul D 49%
    Corwin 42%

    nearly 7000 vote lead

I think a call may be made soon for Dems

  • proudgop

    Hochul 48%
    Corwin 43%

    3500 vote lead

The Cook Political Report’s House race analyst David Wasserman tweets: “I’ve seen enough, Hochul looks like she’s pulled this off.”

While the Dem Party are scumbags for what they’ve done with the “Tea Party” label, this should serve as a wake-up call to the establishment GOP to quit ignoring Tea Party supporters…

  • proudgop

    sigh its over

hopefully this is district redistricted now

  • Kyle-MI

The Democrats lied and cheated to win this seats.

This does not bode well for our country either. Looks like we will have to have Social Security and Medicare collapse before they can be reformed. And we are likely to suffer greatly when that happens.

The Dems will ride this and ride this and ride this. It makes me sick. They would rather drag us to collapse just for pure capture of power.

I cannot express the anger I am feeling right now.

  • carolina

about the mediscare campaign. Truly disgusting.
As long as the GOP gets control of the Senate…… some hope will remain.
The GOP really needs to emphasize growth over austerity. The Hoover message is not a winning one.

  • proudgop

She is ahead by less then 100 votes in Monroe a district she should of carried by 55% at least ( suburh too so what happened to suburb voters here)

  • http://charlemagne-the-hammer.blogspot.com/ DerKrieger

…then some seniors won’t learn until the program collapses before they die or their grandchildren have to start eating dog food to pay their Medicare taxes.

Now, what will the feckless GOP learn from this? That they should continue to cower in fear rather than confront the massive debt that WILL cripple our nation.

The GOP NEVER stop or reverse Leftist policies, all they ever manage to do is slow them down a bit.
