MAJOR Democratic donor Haim Saban breaks with Barack Obama.

I understand that the White House is now spending my tax money to fund a hack whose explicit job description is to troll important sites on the Internet – including RedState – in order to do instant push-back on various posts.  I suggest that said hack cease doing that for a moment, and instead call somebody higher up the food chain right now and let them know that President Barack Obama has a problem.

A real problem.

One of the most important Democratic donors in the past two decades, whose generous contributions helped pay for the DNC headquarters in Washington, D.C., has indicated that he will not contribute to President Obama’s reelection campaign in 2012, because of the administration’s stance on Israel.

[snip]

“President Obama has raised so much money and will raise so much money through the Internet, more than anybody before him. And he frankly doesn’t, I believe, need any of my donations,” said [Haim] Saban.

We’ll let the actually-not-proven assertion that the President will be raising amounts of money in 2012 that will compare to 2008 pass on by without further comment, for the moment.  The important thing here is that Mr. Saban is a very powerful, very influential, and very, very rich individual* whose generosity towards the Democratic party is no less real for being largely unreported.  Mr. Saban will still be contributing to Democrats, mind you; just not the President.  Then again, Democrats are falling all over themselves to distance their party from their party leader’s gaffe over the status of Jerusalem, so it’s not too surprising that the billionaire’s ire is as specific as it is.  In other words… if you were still wondering whether President Obama mucked up selling his Israel policy, stop wondering: he did.  To the point where his re-election funding is going to take a hit… which is why the DNC is trying to spin this one to a fare-thee-well.

It’s a lovely day where I am; how about you?

*How powerful and influential?  Enough to keep me polite.

Up until now, I think Obama just figured that campaign money grows on trees naturally. He is about to find out that you have to farm it correctly to get it to bear fruit.

Thank you, Haim, for this bit of sensibility. Now, keep going.

It’s not just Barack, but the entire Cynthia McKinney wing of the Democrat party that doesn’t deserve your funding. She may have been voted out, but that has only made others speak more softly to avoid exactly the consequences you are doling out on Obama.

This is the message the RNC needs to pitch to Haim. He is heading in the right direction to not fund Barack’s anti-zionist policies. This needs to be leveraged by appealing to his principles not to fund others of the same stripe.

Save Pat Buchanan, and he isn’t even a Republican anymore.

in his book he says Jews distort their religion to “STEAL” Arab and Muslim Lands. Last yr he condemned them for Flotilla, repeating leftist and Jihadist lies and distortions about it. He has accused, falsely, Israel of starving Palestinians with the gaza blockade and much more of course. You don’t get Stormfront support being favorable to Israel.

and Amazingly, now that its campaign season is trying to fancy himself as a friend to Israel and court Huckabee voters in Iowa over it. The media and Conservative establishment refuses to do the least bit of research and call him on it. Same goes for his Anarchist Social positions he supports, well documented, while taking a social con position via lying to these same voters, right now in Iowa.

I saw a report on NBC news yesterday, I believe it was, questioning what all the uproar about what Pres Obama had said about Israel because Hillary Clinton made practically the exact same statement back in Feb 2011 in a meeting & press conference. The BIG DEAL is the American CITIZENS do NOT agree with this administration or the “spokesmen” from past administrations that have stated that Israel should be forced to give up more land to the Palestinians. Israel deserves the right to keep the land their citizens fought and died for. THAT’s what the big deal is. OUR government is NOT listening to it’s citizens……..YET AGAIN!!!!!

    on Israel. Mystery solved.

    From Wikipedia

“Reid (who was raised agnostic) and his wife (who was born to Jewish immigrant parents and grew up in Henderson), converted to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the Mormon or LDS Church) while Reid was a college student.[1] In a 2001 interview he said, “I think it is much easier to be a good member of the Church and a Democrat than a good member of the Church and a Republican.” “

He’ll just say he’s pro-life on abortion as ideological cover and tell everyone to ignore the rest of the fulsome and scurvy truth. Abortion is one of the few aspects of RuPaul’s beliefs that I respect any more, but I hate seeing it used as a cover for a whack-job from the planet Neptune like RuPaul.

I mean, just excommunicate Ron Paul, or whatever the political term is.

I’m sure the Libertarian Party would be thrilled… (/sarc)

Obama’s Jewish donors are obviously gone now, but in addition Obama has to deal with the fact that all those college students that supported him last time graduated and couldn’t find jobs, so they won’t be donating. Also, most of the rest of those “small” donors are dealing with high gas and food prices so they won’t have that extra income available for Our Dear Leader this time around. He better hope there are lots of generous companies willing to pay for Obamacare waivers in the form of campaign donations.

when you can run propaganda on the White House payroll?

I always assumed said hack(s) was/were out there, but he/she/they’re now coming out of the closet.

was not up to expectation. Gee, 10% unemployment and near 1% GNP. What’s not to contribute to?

And while we are at it, do not see the coming Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts “comedy” about a prof dating a student (a violation of ethics) because Hanks just donated something like many 1000s to little o and toasted him to “5 more years” in LA last month.

Roberts is famous for explaining that “Republican” falls between “reptile” and “revolting” in the dictionary. I would remind her that “Roberts” falls between “repulsive” and and “scum” in the same tome.
