Debbie Downer’s bad first month as DNC Chair.

(Via Hot Air) The Politico is just now starting to realize just how big a boon DNC chair Debbie Downer (aka Debbie Wasserman Schultz) is… for the Republican Party:

She’s accused Republicans of wanting to reinstate segregation and of waging a “war on women.” She has asserted, somewhat nonsensically, that the GOP wants to make illegal immigration — by definition against the law — “a crime.” She’s also been mocked for driving a foreign car after pounding Republicans for not supporting the American auto industry.

[snip]

No one seems ready to declare her the Democratic version of Michael Steele, the gaffe-prone former Republican National Committee chairman whose rhetorical and administrative missteps led numerous party leaders to publicly insist he had to go.

Now, this would be the point where I’m supposed to go “She’s the Democratic version of Michael Steele,” only I’m not going to take that particular bait. Michael Steele, for all of his financial goof-ups and uncritical willingness to make a splash, was still a guy who had a sense of humor and a compelling life story. Debbie Wasserman Schultz is an interchangeable Democratic drone (Humorless, Shouting Feminist edition) whose most inherently interesting feature is a lingering uncertainty about whether or not her name requires a hyphen.

Anyway, read the whole thing: of particular interest is Ed Rendell’s somewhat nervous excuses for Debbie Downer’s performance to date.  Not to mention this bit about how conservative blogs “…are gleeful over her bumpy rollout. Conservative blogs are seizing on her excesses — a luxury they did not have with Kaine, her more measured predecessor…”  That’s sort of true, but very few Republicans are really inclined to criticize Tim Kaine’s tenure as DNC chair, even now.  After all, there’s always the chance that some fool in the Democratic party leadership will offer him another position of trust and authority.

PS: Mike Huckabee delivers the coup de grace: “In these days when there are far too many partisan attack dogs stirring up divisiveness and vitriol, it kind of speaks well for her that she’s that bad at it.”

Ouch.

is the poster child for all things socialist and a raging feminist.

And what better incentive do we need for voting Republican (conservative, of course)

She is nothing like Michael Steele. I may not have agreed with him on all issues, but I respected him. Can’t say the same about her.

Raging, bitter and nasty are the words I use to describe her.

Hey, I’m over here and I’m ready to declare, Debbie Pig spews filth!
A gaffe is one thing, filth is another. Politico can’t tell the difference, or doesn’t want to. They’re so used to degraded acts of verbal slime from their party that it is now taken as political debate.
The Florida Pig is the face of Leftism today, unmitigated, unending vitriol, [pardon me while I engage in a little]. It is no accident that she & the now disgraced Weiner were or are hailed as stars of the party.
There is no policy debate anymore, just the effusions of stupidity and barbarism, with no interference from a media as low as they are.
And of course the Chief Threat in the WH leads the way. Nastiness and incompetence, quite a combination.

Is insanity one of the new job qualifications for the position of DNC Chair?

Wasserman-Shultz,Weiner & former rep. A. Grayson may have attended the same summer camp. Instead of learning sports & team spirit each learned to hone in on his or her nasty aggressive lying inner self.Mommy & daddy are proud. (?)
