Hey, Jeff Toobin! About that Andrew Breitbart #Weinergate thing.

You remember how you went on CNN to attack Andrew about the ludicrous, oh so ludicrous suggestion that Anthony Weiner might have been having private digital conversations with teenagers? You know, this attack:

“This is the silliest little thing.”

Well, it’s also the funniest thing! The Delaware police are now looking into Anthony Weiner’s… private digital conversations with a teenager! Which Weiner is totally admitting happening! Just like Weiner admitted to everything else that Andrew claimed that Weiner did, and that you tried to dismiss!

Toobin. There’s a phrase. It’s a phrase that you probably don’t like*, because people use the phrase generally only when they absolutely have to. But it’s a phrase that adults use, so if you want to be treated like an adult you had better start practicing. So. What do you do when you deliberately say nasty things about someone that turn out [not**] to be true, and you get caught at it? What do big boys say? That’s right. They say that they’re sorry. So, why don’t you do that?

Come on, Toobin. Be a man for your kids. Including the one that your baby momma had to sue you to get you to pay child support for.

Moe Lane (crosspost)

*No. Not ‘birth control.’

Having read many of your posts, I very much respect you.

I completely understand where you are coming from but the snarkiness is shining through.

    You are better than that.

    Really?

  • Mike

Snark is the best part of reading Moe. Which is why he’s one of the five stops I make on the interwebs.

I’m sure he could be serious and intellectually engaged and, y’know, STODGY AND BORING. But then he’d be STODGY AND BORING.

Clearly, you have not read Moe.

  • Finrod

I think Moe’s level of snark is exceedingly apt considering the duplicity he’s addressing.

  • NeoKong

That goes beyond just being wrong.
    That was malpractice.
    It was malfeasance.
    It was mal everything.
If there is any justice in this world there has to be some sort of govt. agency that I can complain to.

The OJ jury had more integrity.

Their business model is that of a buggy whip shop when the model T hit the streets. Their only hope is to help the Marxist in Charge “fundamentally transform ” America in to a serfdom. Then their business model will be that similar to Hitlers propaganda machine. Then journalism and the truth will be what they say it is.

The new media will be one that checks it’s sources and verify s a story rather than fills a narrative . Breitbart is new media. Tool-bin is a buggy whip salesman hoping to keep his job a bit longer…..Hey Jeff look at all the model T’s going up and down the street my man….It’s time to close up shop for the apparatchik media .

  • jomo2009

Moe’s snark is of the highest quality. You obviously don’t appreciate the finer things in life. You’re loss.

  • jomo2009

That should be “your.” My bad.

have come out for Weiner. That should be a big red flag for the Tobin types, but maybe they are Pelosi and Rangel defenders, too.

  • johnt

We are meant to suffer in silence, we are so much “better” as to take unlimited abuse, the insane contradictions, theft of our medical care by leftists thugs, the hateful insults of a creature like Weiner, etc & multi Etc.
But every once in a while a sanctimonious fool nevertheless sees it as his duty, not to examine his own sorry ass, but to enjoy the opportunity to lecture people he doesn’t know & irrespective of the justification of their position and statements.
It is the true fool who lacks the modesty to restrain his low, cheap moralizing. Their a dime a dozen now days.

Nothing changes, lacking shame they lack remorse.
The important thing right now is Palin’s e mails, can’t lose sight of the real issues.

Covering for, outright lying for, then covering themselves, the media/press, by lying about their covering for, and lying for, the lying Democrats and their covering for, and lying for supporters covering for, and lying as cover for themselves, is getting a bit monotonous don’t you think!

    Outstanding responses!

Haven’t been here for a while (have a job and still working (I thank God)) but I am seriously amused by some respondent’s vitriol.

I though my initial post was fairly innocuous and although I understand the ‘circle the wagons’ mentality, I still question the snickers.

I though we were above that.
