QotD, Joe Biden Opens His Mouth edition.

Episode 34,872.  Our illustrious Vice President, reminding the Teamsters that democracy must always give way to naked political partisanship:

“And don’t any of you, by the way, any of you guys vote Republican,” Biden said. “I’m not supposed to say, this isn’t political. …don’t come to me if you do! You’re on your own, Jack!”

Now, is that the official position of the United States government, Mr. Vice President? Or just your own?

    Opens his mouth only to put a foot in it. I doubt he was Obama’s worst decision, but he probably comes close.

    Sounds like Joe has finally got the Chicago thug persona down. Obama must be so proud. Doesn’t sound like any Vice President of the United States I would like to know. Same old, same old — vote Democrat or else….the unions get that!

    They seem to be having trouble raffling off $5 drawing tickets for a dinner… I should have bought one myself, but they probably would have thrown me out after the first couple of my inquiries…

    The President’s press conference was a complete disaster, now Joe is putting the strong-arm on the union boys…

    Contributions down. Staff jumping ship. Base evaporating. Morale… now just a bad attitude. Polling hopeless. Each day it appears Obama is cracking up just a bit more. He sure seems cranky.

    I am wondering if Obama will even finish the first term. .
    Just one more bump in the right spot…at the right moment…
    might send him over the edge it seems.

    If they DID vote Republican, Joe would be out of a job and they would have no reason to go to him. Sounds like a plan to me.

    He was the only one who could make Obama appear better by comparison and is far better personal protection than all the Secret Service combined. Assassins may by psychos but they ain’t THAT crazy.

    They must actually be “skeered” of the current political enviroment, don’t ya’ think?

    Couple this with recent Union shenanigans, and I expect decent folks in the middle-to-left of the political spectrum who want to go on being decent folks will start shifting toward the right end of the spectrum pretty soon.

    This should pretty much clear up any lingering doubts we may have about the Democrat?s view of the majority of this country after last November. They were ushered into office in 2008 like the Second Coming, only to be stomped like a narc at a biker rally, so of course, no reasonable conservative ever really believed they?d learned anything other than bloody constraint.

    That said, to call this man?s outburst a textbook example of petulant impertinence is an understatement. Yes, Biden has a long, notorious history of over-exuberance, emotional outbursts and impulsive rhetoric, but for the life of me, I cannot recall a single instance where an elected official of such stature has so blatantly informed the public that if they dare oppose him, they can go kick rocks.

    ?Audacious? isn?t nearly the right word for these people. Halperin nailed it…he just needed to widen his target.

    Even if the Republicans had taken BOTH houses of Congress in 2010 with super majorities in each there is NO WAY they would entertain Impeachment hearings with JB on deck.

    Thus sayeth some guy in the NYPost who I’ve never heard of, but .. it’s a thought.

    The thought that follows, for this cat, is that Cuomo might be able to use a year as Veep to command a run for POTUS in Obama’s stead… especially if Obama resigns or declines to seek a second term. Yes, he’s acting like he’s running, but .. who knows?

    We can joke about Biden as insurance, but put jokes aside. Biden’s stupidity is as glaring as a hippo in the bathtub. These genius’s didn’t see it, for the simple reason they’re not too bright themselves.
    Really, if you’re dumb do you think you’re going to see dumb in others?
    And Obama is DUMB !!
