The Real Occupy DC.

A couple of things to take away from this video:

(For those without video access, it starts with Rudy Giuliani at the AFP summit hanging the Occupiers around Barack Obama’s neck; continues with scenes of Progressives Acting Badly by trying to interfere with the free movement of more productive members of society attending said summit; and ends with several actual residents of DC pointing out that the aforementioned progressives are also interfering with their lives, and that they would like the progressives to move out of the way so that they can get home now, please.)

…anyway, a few thoughts:

  1. Rudy Giuliani should think about going for NY-SEN.  He should think about it very, very hard.
  2. Nice to see that the VRWC’s collective video expertise continues to grow.  Which is, of course, an outgrowth of the Tea Party’s embrace of street activism generally.
  3. This one is kind of important: the Occupiers are going to pick the wrong person to push around at one of these things, one of these days.  You’ll know when that happens when you see a viral video of a twenty-something hipster in a hoodie getting a beatdown from a guy two times his weight and three times his age.

Not that I endorse violence (seriously, not that I endorse violence).  But there’s a limit to how many times the Occupiers can blithely shove seventy-eight year old women down the stairs without infuriating people, and that limit has already been passed…

…recalling that Perry endorsed him for POTUS in ’08!

warts with which I don’t agree. Then we got McCain. Perry is my pick this go-round and will remain so.

They have actually done it twice now. First time was the black guy driving the luxury car with kids in back. And then there is the seventy-eight year-old woman. It definitely shows them to be the thugs they are. Now if we could just get the MSM to report these incidents better.

He will certainly give us heartburn on some issues, but any Dem will give us bleeding ulcers. He is probably the best we could hope for from NY.

what Democracy looks like. It’s what hooliganism looks like. I don’t endorse violence, but the Occupiers are going to pick on someone they shouldn’t eventuallyh.

Mercenaries in action… From ACORN to SEIU, these progressive community organizers specialize in thuggery, chaos, subterfuge and intimidation. For more information on how you can contribute your fair share and really make a difference, log in to whitehouse.gov or Organizing for America. You too can join the one-percent that truly has no clue…

The one in the black overcoat, high heels and beige leather handbag…she does a pretty decent job of forcing her way through the door, and making that shirtless hipster look really weak….

In 1968, these hard-core leftists, furious with the LBJ Administration over Vietnam, would not let VP Humphrey (Dem candidate for President) speak at public gatherings.

They would arrive there in huge numbers, start shouting obscenities in unison, and drown out Humphrey’s speech. Even worse, the news media would only report on these organized heckling attacks, rather than on what Humphrey said. His entire message was getting lost.

The OWS thugs could pull the same stunt with the Republican candidate for President this time: Disrupt his speeches and campaign rallies so he can’t speak in public.

If so, I sure hope that the decent Americans gathered there to hear the candidate speak won’t let them get away with it.
