FRONT PAGE CONTRIBUTOR

RS Interview: Mia Love (R CAND, UT-04 PRI).

You may remember her from last week: Mia is the mayor of Saratoga Springs, Utah, and is now running for the new district created for Utah as a result of the last census.  We had the opportunity to talk about the details of the district, plus her thoughts about the best way to represent it:

Mia’s  site is here.

The question is can Mia get any traction? Or better yet, given this is Utah, is she the best candidate for a conservative state?

I am not that familiar with that area of the country, but I thought that UT is very red state.

Does she have any opposition from Democrats? Is she going to be unopposed?

there are several other candidates who have at least expressed a strong interest in this race – I believe three other Republicans have already directly indicated their intent to run. So she may not be the best candidate in a state where strong conservative Republicans are not in short supply.

…about reading my posts before you comment on them? Well, that applies to listening to my interviews before you comment on them, too. Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy: I mean, I know that you despise me (not that you’d dare say so in a forum where I can in good conscience toss you for it), but that’s no excuse for listening as far as, say, 5:26 or so, where we discuss the Utah convention / primary system*.

    Up your game.

*For those wondering why we didn’t talk about primary opponents at that point: goodness gracious, but it’s hard enough as it is to keep primary candidates from slagging their opponents. We kind of have to tolerate it for Presidential races, but if I can keep it out of a House race interview I’m overjoyed.

With the right degree of exposure nationally and state-wide, Mia can and will win, and take over this coveted seat now being held by a democrat! Whether a blue state, or the reddest of red (Utah), Conservatives need to rally around and support fellow Conservatives like Mia! A Conservative seat in either the House or Senate is A Conservative seat = is A Conservative seat = is A Conservative seat!

Mia is the BEST candidate to represent us – both Utah and nationally – given her Conservative credentials and standards! I am proud to support her in her campaign!

If she gains any traction at all, the Leftists will savage her with racism.

Racial Politics would be front and center. Look back to the beginnings of Progressivism in this country and know it has always been about “training their inferiors amd uplifting same”.
So the best thing that could occur would be to let them ramble and counterpoint same, item by item. This class bush-wa and claims of racism from Barry’s Guy’s is going far beyond Believability, or Tolerance by a majority of America. (Anyone see Holder’s speech on MLK Day? Dis–Gusting!!)
Could it backfire and energize the so-called fence-sitters? If our sainted GOP comes across and illustrates Barry’s post-election fantasies vs. our realities, then we have something.
