RS at CPAC: Sarah Steelman (R CAND, MO-SEN PRI).

Sarah Steelman is one of the candidates running for the Republican nomination for Senate in Missouri – which is, of course, a prime nomination to have, considering that sitting Senate Claire McCaskill is widely expected to be a prominent member of the next wave of Democratic politicians slated to die the political True Death for the greater glory of Obamacare.  We spoke for a bit at CPAC about the race, and about the fact that it was Sarah’s first CPAC:

    Sarah was among the 1st to announce for Air Clair’s seat. She is very approachable and agreed to a quick informal chat at CPAC arranged via twitter!
    I’m not sure the environment above was the best light possible for an intro to Red State, but its too late now.
    I’ll be supporting her.
    I wish her the best and may the most Conservative Candidate win!

    An economist who grew up reading NR. When she ran unsuccessfully for governor in 2008 against the repub establishment candidate she came out forcefully against earmarks- and was condemned in a published letter by the entire Republican congressional delegation. She has policitical guts and will stand by her positions.
