Barack Obama denounces himself over gas price attack ads.

Obama apparently doesn't believe anything that *he* says, either.

Statement (Via Jim Geraghty’s Morning Jolt):

“Every time prices start to go up – especially in an election year – politicians dust off their three-point plans for $2 gasoline. They head down to the pump, make sure a few cameras are following them, and start acting like they can wave a magic wand and you’ll have cheap gas forever. Sound familiar?” Obama said.

Oddly enough, Mr. President… it does.

For those without video access, it’s a video where then-candidate Barack Obama headed down to the pump – after making sure that a few cameras was following him – and started acting like he’d just have wave a magic regulatory club with a nail in it at the oil companies/Wall Street and [then] we’d have cheap gas forever.

Sound familiar?

PS: Welcome to 2012, Mr. President. This will be an election cycle where everything that you have ever publicly said, muttered, shouted, whined, blathered, pontificated, blustered, stated, bloviated, insinuated, accused, suggested, shrieked, howled, or even whispered as President has been not just recorded. Oh, no. It’s been recorded and saved on millions of individual computers, just waiting for the moment where any of those moments might be relevant. And, thanks to the rise of various video sharing sites, the thirty second attack ads that used to be the exclusive province of professional political advocacy companies can now be produced by any guy with a half-decent computer and a YouTube account.

Have a nice day!

Walk to their elections office and sign the dotted line for Precinct Committee Person we could clean up our party as well…

We know it is highly unlikely that the citizens will see, hear, or read about any of this from the MSM.

at least as of now. All the facts are there, all the contradictory statements, the obfuscation on drilling, the deliberately wasted payoff money on the flop called alternate energy, the economy in general, all there and more. We won’t even touch foreign policy.
So what does the Chief Waste do? Of course, blame nameless others, the mysterious demagogues who never have answers.
A bad ad, Normal People will look at it and see an evasive, petty, whiner, a tiny half man, a dishonest punk, in a word, a progressive displaying his character traits.

I long for the day when these threadjacks are finally over.

and have heard and seen it all, which the MSM have just ignored or obfuscated or buried, a la the Journolist, and the typical liberal has the memory retention of a fruit flu (no aspersions cast at the high performing fruit fly) and think of 2008 as a dream year when whatever the o muttered was perfumed in jasmine and gold.

I actually appreciate these types of postings because if it just stayed here you’re right…preaching to the choir. But I take this link and e-mail, Facebook and otherwise post on MSM comments sections as well as other conservative sites (freerepublic, etc.) so the more examples of hypocrisy, dishonesty, etc. that we have to show the undecideds and open/fair-minded liberals, the better it is.

Plus through this process it blends into the national background the eventual truth to the public at large. The MSM never reported the truth on Sandra Fluke but now hear and look around and now the liberals are on the defensive because somehow the truth is out there now though it never exploded onto the scene.

Newt is very good at making Obama have to go on the defensive.

Obama can’t win when Newt is picking the topics being talked about. Obama would rather have this be an argument about contraceptives and other distraction issues, instead he has to try to claim his policies haven’t caused gasoline prices to skyrocket.
