New *Obama* campaign button makes him look like hit and run victim…

...while cosplaying* Reservoir Dogs.

No, really:

If Mitt Romney put out a button like that about Barack Obama, there would be torchlight demonstrations outside Romney’s main campaign office within twenty-four hours. It is in fact, so bad a button that I hope that the person who came up with this one for the Obama campaign got promoted…

*Short for ‘costume play.’  Sort of like reenacting Civil War battles, only for movies and books and stuff.

…a still from the starting sequence of an old Bond film.

that really makes me mad, because again it is all about him.

I am so sick of it. People are so enamored of him and he has done nothing for them. They just like him because he picks the right enemies and takes money from the right people. Surely liberals can find a better standard bearer than this guy.

I am starting to wonder if he is stable.

  • westcoastpatriette

    I was thinking hit man.

  • califgal

look cool, but I do believe that given the state the nation is in, and given that ALL the man has done this year and in years past (consider dancing with Ellen, visits to women’s shows, the appearance on Fallon( the most offensive, most unPresidential) is try to be cool, the public has soured on his narcissism.

Just to make that point a bit clearer, were I head of the RNC, I’d see to it that a couple of those pics of him at Columbia, the ones of him wearing a hat at a rakish angle, a cigarette perched just so on his lips, make it into print as often as possible.

Those are pics that were not seen by most Americans the first go-round, and I am convinced most have still not seen them.

I suspect most Americans wouldn’t hold it against any young man who’s 20 or so wanting to pose to look cool, but I also believe that if they saw those pics from years ago, they’d say to themselves, “Too bad he hasn’t changed one bit–he’s still all about stylin’, not about substance. How could we have been so stupid as to have bought it.”

Then I remembered I couldn’t stand Clinton on Letterman playing the Sax but I liked Nixon on Laugh in.

I suspect this is something that will tick off republicans have little to no effect on democrats and undecideds. So something of a net win.

…. and they think this will appeal to the blacks & the ows types (and young people?)
I agree with wcp: “hit man”

  • blooch

and it’s the opening sequence of “Madmen”. A more accurate button would use the final illustration in that sequence.

And always with the pocket pool. Must be strokin’ the little Hanuman.

except for ers and ums and a bunch of nothing that shows he’s a feckless idiot. Note how he speaks to the UN and the twang he uses on the campaign trail like he’s a regular guy. He’s a mindless thug with an small stick on the world stage. Poor us for his ruiness policies.

Seems he’s found his roots after all.

His face on the button is both, black and white. –I wonder if they meant to do that.

….button that commemorates his 100th round of golf? In the new Anna Wintour collection?

  • SoFiMil

Perhaps 6eorge Jetson is working on it?

As I recall, in the end it didnt go too well for Mr. White (execution followed by suicide-by-cop.)

there is a metaphor in there somewhere if Mr. Orange is the Constitution (the informant/detective), Mr. White is Obama (the Leader of the group after a failed heist), and the cops in the end are the voters this November…

Actually, now that I think of it, I dont want to see that metaphor play out in real life.

  • dodgeone

read the latest Politically Correct memo from the MSM that the word Cool when used about Obama is racist an demeaning just like the N word!

  • Ausonius

Does anyone really care about anything he does these days, except for loser fanboys and the French?

So, sure, go ahead and refer to 20 year-old movies! :)

Concerning campaign signage: I am – so far – gratified to notice that the forest of pro-MAObama yard signs, which sprouted in the upper-class areas of Ohio’s capital city in 2008, not to mention the bumper stickers, have not appeared.

Perhaps people have noticed their own bank accounts, and the unemployment lines, and the daily shootings and stabbings in the local lower-class areas, and are having second thoughts about voting for His Mighty Coolness.

  • earlgrey

    chose to ignore it.

Political correctness is not a language spoken by a free peoplle –Courtney Rogers R candidate TN HD 45.

  • nankwok

is more like it, QT at his best.

  • renny

Fearless Leader just threw his hat into the ring of the knowing of Fast and Furious with his exec. privilege assertion. So, the button is just perfect for some godfather underling a la black exploitation films 1975.

  • renny

The big o will not like that inference.

  • mike2013

Someone should make a button with Obama’s face on it from his Choom gang days and have Obama 2012.

For instance, ask someone nowadays what their first “45″ was and they are most likely to tell you “Glock”.
