RS Interview: Steve Oelrich (R CAND, FL-03 PRI)

This is a slightly complicated one: I have two different interviews for the FL-03 GOP primary, and I don’t want to appear to play favorites, so I’m just going to do them both and let the readers decide.  This one is of state Senator Steve Oelrich, who represents most of the new district in the state legislature.

    I enthusiastically endorse Cliff Stearns in this race. The Oelrich campaign has been telling strange stories about his military eligibility:

    I live in Dictrict 3, and the Conservatives are voting for Ted Yoho.

    Stearns promised to term-limit himself – a long time ago. Most of the time he’s voted the right way, but we need new blood in this district.

    Oelrich is a career politician who talks a good talk to get elected and then doesn’t give a hoot about the people who elected him.

    We wouldn’t know the word “Solyndra” but for Cliff Stearns. That gets a lot of credibility in my book.

    Ted Yoho couldn’t even be trusted to oppose a tax increase (the proposed Alachua Co. road tax). The *one* time he got to publicly vote and he messed it up.

    I don’t live in District 3, but every vote every member of Congress takes affects me too (Exhibit A: ObamaCare!). Yoho is not reliable enough for me to support sending to the Washington DC circus.
