Short version: Ted Cruz will be in Arizona today. John Kasich has nothing scheduled for today, but will be in Utah tomorrow. At the moment, Donald Trump has nothing on the schedule at all. Note: I endorsed Ted Cruz Tuesday night, so grain of salt about my raised eyebrows over the implications of my second and third sentences. Also: all of this was as of noon today, Eastern Time.

  • Ted Cruz: three events today in Arizona, all with Rick Perry: Sun City, Tempe, and Mesa.  It seems consistent with a push to win Arizona’s winner-take-all primary next Tuesday.  But a lot of that will depend on both the candidate’s further schedule, and what happens in Utah.
  • John Kasich: Kasich has no events scheduled today. He will be doing three town halls in Utah tomorrow.  I suspect that it is unlikely that Kasich will seriously contest Arizona.
  • Donald Trump: nothing scheduled, according to his website.  Well, I assume that he’s campaigning today somewhere; but if you live in Arizona or Utah you’re not going to hear about it via the official Events page, apparently.  Heck, it would not surprise me if Trump didn’t seriously campaign in Arizona, either.
