Murray’s lead cut in half after the Rossi dust settles

The latest Washington Poll from the University of Washington is out, and now that the dust has settled around Dino Rossi’s entering the race, he’s still close to incumbent Patty Murray.

In fact, her lead has been cut in half from last time.

The previous Washington Poll had Murray up 44-40, but this time among Registered Voters Murray’s lead is at 42-40, with an MoE of 2.3. With that tiny Margin of Error, that still gives Murray a 67% probability of a lead at this time.

But still, Washington I expect to remain close as I do Pennsylvania and Ohio.

    This poll seems to prove what a lot of Washington conservatives have been saying. Namely, if we want to take out Murray in November, it’s going to have to be Dino that does it.

    He’s not my favorite of the GOP candidates, but he’s not my least favorite either. Anybody but the “senator in sneakers.”

    If Rossi wins the nomination, which is likely, this should be a very interesting race. Let’s hope, for all of us, that it turns out better than his runs for Governor.

    It just seems likely that Rossi will get the nomination after getting it twice for the Governor’s races.

    …get involved in the process. You can’t really say it was stolen until you can actually prove it was stolen. That things were “too convenient” is not proof. Get proof. Get active. Get Republicans in the room in precincts.

    Though the 2008 result of 53-47 isn’t really in the neighborhood of fraud.

    We know Murray has to GO, remember her and Boxer(boobsie twins) sat there all night while Schumer and Reid wrote the Cornhusker kickback and eagle eyed Nelson ever time he came the room. Murray, Schumer, Reid and Boxer have to GO. It is KA time.

    It’s been about three weeks since he declared, and he’s done no events, and his web site has nothing but his video announcing he’s running?

    He seems to think he has the absolute right to winning the primary, without having to do anything to earn it.

    Clint Didier has done LOTS of events, he seems to be the one with grassroots support and he’s been endorsed by Palin.

    It seems to me he’s earned what position he has with the party’s primary voters.

    To pretend that the world began this year is not quite accurate.

    He won’t even say if he agrees with Arizona’s immigration law.

    A lot has changed in a couple of years. He’s ducking the issues.

    And that says a lot, because the Senate is not exactly composed of the best and the brightest, to be charitable.

    Debate! Rossi should be able to reduce Murray to a quivering mass of gelatinous protoplasm easily. Her only hope is that many voters are as dumb as she is.

    It seemed every other day they “found” more ballots in King County (Seattle) and the final margin was 133 votes. ACORN was prosecuted for fraudulent registrations in 2006 (http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2003760004_webvoterfraud23.html and http://www.komonews.com/news/8729967.html) and I will guarantee you they did the exact same thing in 2004. So, in 2008 Rossi was ready. I was one of the volunteer lawyers recruited to observe the counting process. Sadly, they didn’t have to cheat because it wasn’t close (2008 being such a banner year for conservatives). I am certain there will be a similar effort on Rossi’s (or Didier’s or whoever’s) behalf this time.
