Just a reminder: the Marxists at Free Press are also frauds

Free Press, the Communist organization founded with the goal of “media reform,” which should be read as the nationalization of mass media in America, is still shouting about the great injustice at the FCC. That injustice is, of course, the shocking revelation that the FCC is meeting behind closed doors with industry stakeholders before making any firm decisions about the Internet, and in particular the Title II Deem and Pass reclassification plans to regulate the entire Internet in America.

Free Press wants you to think there’s something corrupt about this, though as Politico points out, Free Press itself is still taking part in the meetings. Some animals are more equal than others, I suppose.

I don’t get it. Is Free Press grumpy because it wants the FCC meeting to be open to the public as well as “industry stakeholders”?

  • Leopard1996

Because they didn’t want the FCC to be meeting with anybody but them, to force down their garbage.

We should have peripherals so old phone modems can be used and bone up on Basci and AscIII, so if the big services like Comcast and AOL go down, we can use the net like the old days before “mass” internet access. Unless an “emergency” (the 2010 election\?) shuts down ALL communications, old-style computer distance access should still function. Whether Restate would be up is another question.

Did they leave anything out? The left’s new discussion ( read revision) of the first amendment, and who it protects, is the truly Orwellian clue that should tip off any fence sitting independents, and perhaps a few democrats, that these people see democracy as a means to an end which has nothing to do with freedom or liberty.

In 130 days the counter reformation begins.

    Overturn the 111th congress forever.

Nobody cares about you the way a democrat does.
