Red State Uprising

It’s no secret there’s a lot of discontent – if not downright anger – in the country right now. Concerned citizens are looking at our rapidly-expanding government and its attendant debt and wondering how on earth our children are going to be able to pay for all this. The sheer size of the juggernaut, however, can be daunting. How can one individual fight such a Goliath?

Our own Erick Erickson has the answer in Red State Uprising: How to Take Back America, which hits bookstores today. It is an informative but above all practical guide to what is happening to us, why it is
wrong, and how we can stop it. And as an added bonus it is an engaging and entertaining read. Get your copy today and we can organize a discussion thread. Enjoy!

Someone should have warned the artist who designed the cover: Do not use the left arm salute. Seems that very few people remember history any more, no?

Which means it’s just a bunch of people holding up copies of the Constitution.

By tradition, an upraised left arm, clenched, is Trotskyite or, occasionally, anarchist.

Yes, even when the US Constitution is clenched in the first. That’s because we don’t know what the Trotskyite/anarchist is holding in the unraised right hand — perhaps it’s a flaming match.

[ Okay, I'm going to let this drop since I seriously doubt that the typical US reader is really up on Trotskyite/anarchist body language!]
