Rasmussen just released a new poll showing Rossi up 1pt over Murray.

I will say that’s a really good thing Murkowski’s name doesn’t actually appear on the ballot, I think Miller would be in real trouble.

I just don’t see a write in candidate winning a statewide election, and it looks like Murkowski is pulling heavily from the Democrat. I see her ending up with 10%-15% of the vote, and most of it taken out of the Dem’s hide.

Even the KosKids are using this new poll of lies and running with it.
Of course in my state of FL, they lie about how Sink is 8 points ahead, not 8 points behind (at the time, her massive lies commercials must be changing a few peoples minds as she is now 4% behind). I see they recently changed this to say she is 2 points behind now 47-45% instead of the real 48 (or 49-50% depending on the polling source) to her 44-45%. The story thsy link even says specifically “…but by 4 points (48-44) among those who say they are most likely to vote.” 4 points is a big difference from 2 points.
Of course we know they will be crying foul when their illegal votes and bullying failto get their Commie Sink in office.

Given the small numbers, the geographic distances between various subcultures (how do you travel to all these outposts on a limited budget) and the mishmash of ideology and relationships, how can one find a representative sample.

And how many people who say they will write in actually take the trouble to do so? It’s very hard to model that since write-in candidacies are so rarely a significant factor.

I would discount pretty much all polls at this time and wait to see the results of the only one that matters – Nov 2nd.

Of course, the folks at MSNBC were all giddy over the Hays Research poll.

They had the Presidential contest in the state in 2008 within the MOE. McCain-Palin took it with 59% of the vote.

You could look at Politico’s history, too, for that matter – a bunch of Democratic hack writers, nothing more.

Why aren’t more people calling Politico out by name for the leftist flack group it’s become?

Well, I supposed they could have provided special machines for people to cast in a “write-in” bot by pushing a button that will stamp her name. With a flashing blue light. But than that, the fix is in to the extent the old guard can to it.

I’m still concerned that the Democrat will sneak in and win – leaving Alaska with two Democratic senators and almost surely sending our possible Senate majority to perdition.

Not predicting, but a few more manufactured last minute media scandals and corrupt state officials and we could end up with 46-47 seats.

are just played up to influence the voters. Too many people love to go with the flow or jump on the bandwagon of the one who looks like the winner. Too many people will think the Dem is going to win and say “I don’t like to be on the losing side so I’ll vote for the Dem too since he’s going to win.”

I know it sounds bad, but with the way the libs have twisted the culture and our children through public education today, can anyone really say that some people won’t think like that?

Along with dozens of others. There is a steady stream through the door of the elections office before the 5pm deadline. We are trying to make the list of write-ins that the elections office hands out to help people spell the names correctly as long as possible.

I even have a platform…. VOTE FOR JOE

Santorum is filling in for Bill Bennett this morning and just did to Joe Miller what he did to Pat Toomey 6 years ago. Using this union paid poll he said Miller was finished and Moooocoooowsick (That’s really spelled M-I-L-L-E-R) was in. And that RINO wants to run for President.

I counted over fifty people just into the letter D. So that leaves a bunch more people through Z. Please by my guest and count the rest. They are primarily republican or non affiliated. Hopefully these people will not got any votes because Joe does not need the siphoning. Maybe the courts will realize there are too many and say no to handing out the names.

Defund NPR, let them tread water like Err America on their own private funding.

According to this article, which is a total hit piece on Miller, they stupidy publicly state that the Murky campaign gave out and mailed bracelets with the Senators name on them. A Murky spokesman said- “It’s cold in Alaska and people are going to be wearing jackets” and was hopeful that the bracelets would not be visible.

It is against the law to take anything into the polling place with any candidates name on it. I hope the poll watchers check to make sure these bracelets are not worn on election day.

If this is how damn dumb the Murky people are, it is just another reason she lost the primary. Who would publicly state their intentions to break the law?

…that a number of voters decide to say a plague of both houses and vote for the Democrat. You can be pretty certain that no Democrat is going to want either Miller or Murkowski, and there are not an insubstantial number of them.

If that happens and the Dem wins, then you’ll see real global warming as the Alaska glaciers melt from the recriminations between the two wings of the AK-GOP.

I’d think there would be plenty of slippage when it comes to a write in candidate. Not sure how polling will translate directly to election results. I’d have to think a write in would do much worse than polls suggest.
