Obama sets the modern record for Midterm losses

Here are the the last 60 years’ worth of midterm losses, going back to the second Truman midterm, according to Wikipedia for election-on-election losses, which is the standard I use all around. For 2010 I’m using the current CNN projection of a 65 seat Republican gain and a 243 R – 192 D House. Click for full size goodness.

Midterm Losses

Congratulations, Mister President.

Obama, Pelosi and Reid has done more to shift the country to the right than any other politician of any political stripe. We couldn’t have done it without them. Thanks.

Bilderberger influenceTO THE WEAK-KNEED REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRAT?..TO ALL THE COMMUNIST IN THE IG,FBI,CIA,AND U.S. Senators and the left wing media outlets?..Wake up america!!!! This goverment is the most corrupt we have had in years. The good old boy network is very much in charge.Mr. obama and pelosi are the puppet masters. How many of their good friends benefited by the agreement ? what a farce. All of the u.sSenators voted for this. I am ashamed to say I voted for the these corupted self serving politicians. With good reason they picked an out of towner to be president. All u.s departments need an overhaul. We need to rid ourselves of the puppet masters and the dept heads that bow down to obama and pelosi.I am sick of the lip service I have been getting from these dummies over violations, their friends are getting away with.in the goverment . Barack Hussein Obama , threatens friends and bows to Mmslim.
INPEACH OBAMA ,GOD OPEN YOUR EYES.///For us there are only two possiblities: either we remain american or we come under the thumb of the communist Mmslim Barack Hussein OBAMA. This latter must not occur.//////// I love communist obama.will you ,thank you,the commander.ps aka red ink obama.//////// Repost this if you agree, IS communist obama ONE , Because of its secrecy and refusal to issue news releases, the Bilderberg group is frequently accused of political conspiracies. This outlook has been popular on both extremes of the ideological spectrum, even if they disagree on what the group wants to do. Left-wingers accuse the Bilderberg group of conspiring to impose capitalist domination,[21] while some right-wing groups such as the John Birch Society have accused the group of conspiring to impose a world government and planned economy.Obama’s India trip really an Emergency Bilderberger Meeting ?THE COMMADER //////// .Is Barack Obama pushing forward dangerous policies that are bringing the United States closer to a socialist dictatorship. Are you even aware?

    2. What is the major proof of the Bilderberger influence over many of the world events in the last decade!

    3. Is it really true that the recent global financial collapse was engineered by the Bilderberg Group. Why was their 2010 annual meeting held in Greece?
    4. Bilderberger influence, president George W. Bush says he was “blindsided” by the financial crisis that shadowed his final months in office, but adds that the Democratic-controlled Congress shares some of the blame. -

Now that the agenda for global government and a centralized world economic system is public and out in the open, the importance of the Bilderberg Group?s annual conference rests on grooming political candidates. The lion?s share of Bilderberg?s 2010 agenda has already been announced by its members weeks before ? it will revolve around a potential military strike on Iran as well as the future collapse of the euro.

if there had been no voter fraud? And, I wonder if any of the electronic machines in Illinois, Washington, Connecticutt, etc., had “ghost voting” like the ones in Nevada, where “autonomous” votes came up for Harry Reid?

    Just wondering…

Keep up the tone deaf zealotry O, in the long run it’s better this way…

But that’s just an unsubstantiated guess on my part…

Don’t forget that he also beat Carter to become the worst POTUS in history. That is an amazing accomplishment. However, due to his lack of experience, he probably couldn’t have achieved this without great help from Reid and Pelosi.

  • Dave_in_Fla

That still has me floored. I can’t for the life of me who thought it would be a good idea to not run the 72 hour program.

  • Dave_in_Fla

Hell of a job Barry, keep it up.

One of the advantages of Obama’s victory in 2008, and the Democrat’s congressional victories in 2004 and 2006, is that they were set up to act on their extreme ideology, regardless of voter sentiment regarding specific policy initiatives. It was that unrestrained hubris that did them in. Obama is sadly mistaken when he believes that the poor economy was the cause of his downfall. His threat to freedom was the cause of his downfall and political emasculation. Americans correctly identified Obama’s policies, actions, and in-your face radical appointments as a direct assault on our way of life. The Democrat’s hope was that they could ratchet up government controls which Republicans would be unable to reverse. That’s why the repeal of Obamacare is so critical, because it represents the biggest single source of excessive government control, as well as the single greatest threat to our economic and fiscal health. Those who blather on about Nancy Pelosi being one of the most successful Speakers ever miss the point that she was willing to ignore the will of the people in her pursuit of her legislative agenda, and that the cost of that agenda will bankrupt America if not reversed. She was, in reality, the most incompetent Speaker in American history because of the magnitude of her hubris and the potential calamity that her actions will lead to if healthcare is not repealed.

It is clear that the political bloodbath on Nov. 2 would have been far worse had not the Democrats been able to count on the $1 billion in labor union money extracted from the dues of their members. The unions, whether in my home state of CT or elsewhere, treat their members like cogs in the vast election year apparatus. Yet, we know that many union members reject their unions’ political positions, even if they do support them on matters of collective bargaining. They understand that the radical left has taken control of their leadership and that they are victims of that process. After all, 51% of union members voted for Scott Brown in Massachusetts. The Republicans need to do a better job, however, of reaching out to those voters and inform them (1) what their unions are using them to advance a radical agenda; (2) how their radical views extend far beyond issues of collective bargaining; (3) how the current leaders are hostile to genuine notions of labor union democracy (as witnessed by SEIU’s centralization of power and card check legislation); and the biographies of those now in charge. Targeted mailings to union members would be one way of reaching on to these members in advance of the 2012 elections. If enough members asserted their rights under the Supreme Court?s Beck decision, the unions would be denied a substantial source of unearned campaign cash.
