Donald Trump may have gotten more delegates to the Republican National Convention than Ted Cruz did, but today Ted Cruz is taking a step in a Presidential direction that Donald Trump may NEVER be lucky enough to get.

That’s right, Donald Trump might be set to be the Republican Presidential nominee, but Ted Cruz is the one who’s going to take a ride in Air Force One.

Cruz will be joining the President on a flight to Dallas, where the heroic Police Chief is trying to restore order by attempting to restore peace to the city.

I hope that Cruz and Obama riding together can, in some small way, help foster the spirit that David Brown is attempting to bring to Dallas after the horrifying events of late. That would certainly be a refreshing change from the divisive tribalism of the Trump campaign.
