We’ve reported how important it was to fund the Paycheck Protection Protection because it helped to preserve thousands of American small businesses and possibly millions of American jobs.

One thing that the Trump administration is good at is highlight the faces of the real Americans who are helped by the things his administration has done.

Trump showcased businesses helped by the program on Tuesday, also as a way of encouraging folks that they can bring the economy back again.

They featured Bitty and Beaus, a small chain of five coffee shops that employs developmentally disabled folks.

Amy Wright, the owner explained how it saved them and the jobs of 120 employees.

From Fox News:

“We employ 120 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. For most of them, it is their first paying job, which made the decision for us to temporarily close all five of our shops especially difficult,” Wright said in the East Room of the White House.

“But, thanks to the Paycheck Protection Program and the incredible team, all 120 employees are back on the payroll today and working from home writing handwritten notes that we include with each online order we ship.”

One of the employees, Michael, stole the show with how happy he was to be able to have a job to go back to, thanks to the program and how thrilled he was to be invited to the White House.

“That means me and all of my amazing coworkers are not broken, and we have lots to offer,” Michael said. “I know the great country of the United States isn’t broken either.”

Now, this is an employee, he never forgets to advertise and tell where the business is!

Multiply this by thousands and this is the good this can do to save jobs. Thankfully, now they have the funding that was held up for two weeks by house Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the program is up and running again. This can head off millions more being out of work.
