Private School in NYC Tells Kids to Not Use Terms 'Mom' and 'Dad,' 'Boys and Girls,' 'Happy Holidays'

People are troubled about the leftward and radical direction that it seems many schools are going.

As I previously wrote, Bari Weiss wrote a great story about how even the private elite schools are being inundated with this stuff and that parents are organizing in secret against it.

It’s everywhere. People are seeing it now, but the indoctrination has been going on for decades, so it’s entrenched on every level.

But it’s getting even crazier, as a segment revealed on Fox and Friends. They saw a part in the Bari Weiss story about one particular school. The hosts and Newt Gingrich spoke about the Manhattan private school, Grace Church School, which charges a boatload of money to send your kids there. The school wants the kids to be more inclusive, so they send out a 12-page guide to their students and staff of words to use.

Among the words they were saying should not be used? “Mom” and Dad” and “parents.” Instead they said you should use “grown-ups,” “folks,” “family” or “guardians.” Why? Because it makes assumptions about kids’ home lives and they “actively try to undo notions of a “typical” or “normal” family structure.”

Instead of “boys and girls,” “guys,” “ladies and gentleman,” you should use “people,” “folks,” friends,” “readers,” “mathematicians.” Instead of “Merry Christmas” or even “Happy Holidays,” you should use “Have a great break” (Fox depicted that slightly incorrectly). Now you’re not even supposed to use the ambiguous “Happy holidays” — that’s still apparently somehow suggesting religiosity which might be offensive to someone.

The guide also included pronouns, preferred words on gender, sexual orientation race, and ethnicity. The school said the point was to “promote a sense of belonging for all of our students.” “As part of our Episcopal identity, we recognize the dignity and worth common to humanity,” the school said.

They’re literally admitting their purpose is to upend the traditional family.

According to the Daily Mail, the school also offers courses and after-school programs that include “single-gender groups, a Roots of Empathy program, and a course called ‘Allying: Why? Who? and How?’ which is offered to seniors.”

The curriculum for that particular program, according to the City Journal, includes a photograph of a burning police car in a ‘zine called ‘Accomplices not Allies’.

The photograph is teamed with a declaration that ‘the work of an accomplice in anti-colonial struggle is to attack colonial structures & ideas’.

Oh. What part of that has to do with dignity, Grace Church?

This apparently is one of the parents.

Except she doesn’t get she just violated the school’s inclusion glossary by calling herself a “parent” and not a “guardian.” Whoops, guess she just got a fail in wokeness.
