Trump Stands up for Israel, as Biden Dithers on Hamas Attacks

Hamas bombarded Israel Tuesday, firing a ton of rockets toward Tel Aviv. As happened Monday, the Iron Dome was an invaluable defense.

The Iron Dome has been doing a great job of protecting the country but there’s only so much it can do under the constant barrage, and some did get through.

While Hamas is indiscriminately trying to kill Israeli civilians, Israel’s response is to perform targeted strikes on Hamas terrorist targets.

What has been the response of the Biden regime to these attacks? As my colleague Bonchie reported, the words from Jen Psaki were pretty disgusting.

Evictions being worked out in a complicated legal process don’t justify terrorist attacks on Israel. For Psaki to even bring them up in the context of the attacks is wrong, as though that puts Israel on the same footing with Palestinians committing terrorist actions.

But did you notice what was missing here? Where’s a statement from Joe Biden himself? You would think that such a major attack on Israel might prompt him up from the basement, that, for once they might actually have him answer some questions or at least make a statement. No such luck, Biden is missing in action.

Meanwhile, as Joe Biden seems to be among the missing, President Donald Trump is not shy about making a statement condemning the Hamas terrorism against Israel.

“When I was in office we were known as the Peace Presidency,” Trump’s statement read, “because Israel’s adversaries knew that the United States stood strongly with Israel and there would be swift retribution if Israel was attacked. Under Biden, the world is getting more violent and more unstable because Biden’s weakness and lack of support for Israel is leading to new attacks on our allies. America must always stand with Israel and make clear that the Palestinians must end the violence, terror, and rocket attacks, and make clear that the U.S. will always strongly support Israel’s right to defend itself. Unbelievably, Democrats also continue to stand by crazed anti-American Rep. Ilhan Omar, and others, who savagely attack Israel while they are under terrorist assault.”

Now that’s an unequivocal statement, and much clearer than anything Psaki said. That’s really what it comes down to.

Trump cut their money and made clear that he wasn’t going to put up with nonsense. Meanwhile, Biden re-instituted Palestinian aid so they know they can play him and get away with it. So under Trump, there was peace. Under Biden, we have a barrage of rockets. The contrast couldn’t be any starker.

Trump is also right on target when it comes to Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN). Democrats didn’t call out her statements against Israel or bother to distance themselves from it. Indeed, they elevated her to Vice-Chair of a subcommittee of the important Foreign Affairs Committee, even after her anti-Semitic comments.

I would make one more note about Trump’s statement. He can’t make that statement on Twitter because he’s banned. Meanwhile, the Hamas leader is on Twitter celebrating the attacks on Israel and urging his comrades to take up arms against Israel. That apparently doesn’t violate the Twitter rules.
