Biden Gets Even Worse, With Concerning Report About Repeating the Same Story He Just Told

As I reported on Wednesday, Joe Biden's meeting and remarks with the Brazilian President Lula da Silva did not go very well

He said the quiet part out loud, acknowledging that they were telling him when he could talk and when he should be cutting off the reporters. He also almost knocked down the Brazilian flag as he walked onto the stage, leaving Lula and another speaker behind when they were announced together. But perhaps worst of all, when he was leaving after the remarks with Lula, he saluted the audience and just walked off, as Lula stood there. He shook hands with the other speaker and then just seemed to wave his arm in disgust in response to Biden walking off and not even acknowledging him. Biden didn't even seem to understand that he was supposed to shake hands/walk off with Lula.

You have to wonder how many times Joe Biden has ticked off world leaders with behavior like this. But now it's getting so bad that we're seeing it on video.

After the events with Lula, Biden then headed out to a campaign reception thrown by Amy Goldman Fowler. The pool report — which is usually a pretty staid recitation of the facts — revealed that things got worse for Biden.

POTUS began speaking at 4:09 pm. His remarks were given in a well-appointed living room after an introduction by the event's host, Amy Goldman Fowler. About two dozen people were in attendance. After briefly touting his economic record, POTUS reflected on his decision to seek the presidency. He told the story about the events of Charlottesville in 2017 as the reason for his campaign. A few minutes later, he told the story again, nearly word for word [emphasis added].

When a mainstream media reporter feels the need to note this, you know it had to have been bad.

When you start repeating things that you just said, there's a big problem, whether they want to acknowledge it or not. We keep seeing that problem in so many ways, every day with Biden. Now, we're not likely to get an honest diagnosis from the White House, but when old people start repeating whole stories that they just said, it's not good.

As I've noted in the past, that story is also based on a falsehood, where Biden has frequently claimed that former President Donald Trump supposedly was including the neo-Nazis in his "fine people on both sides" comment, when Trump specifically condemned neo-Nazis. But that's classic Joe: Even his reason for running is based on something that isn't the case.

He also "touted his economic" record. What is there to tout? It's been horrible for Americans who have had to suffer through Bidenflation.

Biden also joked that he "looked 30" and he attacked his predecessor as a threat to democracy.

Imagine what the donors must have thought when he repeated the same thing over again. This is the type of event where you're supposed to be trying to impress people, not make them second guess whether they should be giving you money. As it was, there weren't a lot of people there, only about two dozen people, including actor Richard Schiff, who played Toby Ziegler on "The West Wing."

But when he came back to the White House and got off the Marine helicopter on the South Lawn, you could see how bad his gait was, walking in stilted fashion.

He waved at the reporters but didn't respond to their questions. Then he looked ahead and pointed at the White House as though he was asking if that was where he was supposed to go.

At some point soon, the Democrats are going to have to fish or cut bait, because it's just getting worse.
