Even Beto Is Now Going After Biden, for 'Really Failing Us'

We're starting to see all kinds of folks jumping in to potentially siphon off votes for Joe Biden.

In a tight race, any of these folks being in could be a problem. All of them jumping in is potentially disastrous for Biden. There's Robert Kennedy and Jill Stein to take away a few percentage points and now it looks like Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) is also posturing to run since he just announced he would not be running again for his Senate seat.

But you know it's bad when even the execrable Beto O'Rourke starts ripping into Biden.

O'Rourke was at Harvard Kennedy School's Institute of Politics on Thursday and blasted Biden in his remarks. He is now saying that Biden has failed to deliver on his promises when it comes to dealing with asylum.

"When Joe Biden was running in 2020, he ran with such incredible moral clarity on this issue: ‘We will no longer put kids in cages because they’re not animals, we will no longer tear babies from the breasts of their mothers,' literally what Trump was doing in his family separation policy," O’Rourke said. "'We're going to restore the soul of America, and we're going to live up to our promise.' Man, that was inspiring to me. I needed to hear that, living on the border and as someone who really cares about that."  [....]

"Biden is not inspiring, I don't think, any acts of political terror or the kind of slaughter that we saw in El Paso, and yet, on other counts, he's really failing us," he said.

This guy has no shame, in spreading the "kids in cages" falsehood, and whatever other nonsense he's trying to make up there seemingly against former President Donald Trump.

But he is right that "Biden is not inspiring" (and just leave off the rest of that sentence).

It is no secret that Democratic voters are unexcited about Biden — that's putting it politely. It is no secret, thanks to the poll that we just read," O'Rourke said.

He complained that "more migrants have died this year [under Biden] than any year on record."

"More migrants have died this year than any year on record. And last year more migrants had died than any year on record," O’Rourke said. "They’re drowning, they’re dying of dehydration and exposure in the desert, and these are little babies and mothers and f***ing human beings who don't deserve to be treated that way."

Notice Beto's whole criticism is essentially that Biden hasn't opened the door wide enough for illegal aliens. And his criticism shows what a failure Biden is not only in keeping the border secure as he should to protect this country but also on the humanitarian front. Biden has made everything worse all the war around.

Beto is of course clueless -- the American people are looking to secure the border not open it wider. If Biden does what he says, Biden would drop even more.

Is this Beto posturing for a run? If he's willing to throw Biden under the bus like this, one has to think so. And whether or not he is thinking about running, the fact that he's now willing to criticize him so publicly, you know Democrats truly have to be concerned about whether to stick with Biden.
