Fetterman Does It Again, Leaving Ceasefire Activist Just Empty With His Response

It's funny that you have several progressive Democrats in Congress who have a very twisted take on the Israel-Hamas war and are calling for a ceasefire that helps the Hamas terrorists. Yet, it's the Democrat who has processing problems who gets the issue right -- Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA)

When a leftist veterans's group was at the Capitol trying to see Sen. Kirstin Gillibrand (D-NY) to call for a ceasefire, Fetterman walked past them and waved an Israeli flag at them.

That ticked them off for sure.

But it looks like one of the people from the veterans' group also managed to track him down to try to prevail upon him when he was alone to push for a ceasefire. It did not go well for her. Fetterman gave the perfect answer that all the members of Congress should be giving to protestors when confronted.

"You don't have an answer for why you wouldn't call for a ceasefire in one of the most serious civilian massacres of our lifetime?" the woman queried.

Is she kidding? Yes, the attack on Israel was a "civilian massacre"; Hamas figures about accidental deaths in Gaza are not the same thing.

"I don't know," Fetterman responded. That's when he gave her the kicker, "I think you should be protesting Hamas. Why didn't you do that and do protesting until we get the hostage back?" He was polite, "That's my opinion and I respect your opinion."

Great answer. They don't give a darn about the hostages or that their actions are effectively helping the terrorists who killed and kidnapped not only Israelis but Americans as well.

The woman made some comparison to the Taliban as what looks like a Capitol Police officer seemed to be trying to intervene to get her away from Fetterman. She said that the U.S. wasn't funding Hamas but was "funding the bombs that are killing innocent civilians in Gaza every day."

"Well I'm an American citizen so I'm protesting what my government is doing and you make decisions for my government," she said.

"Very good then," he replied.

"And you don't care that 10,000 people have been killed, that 4000 children have been killed...that's okay with you?" she said, pushing Hamas propaganda numbers.

"Okay," Fetterman said.

"Okay, I guess we have our answer, " she said, frustrated.

Good for him for sticking to his guns. That's the right answer. It's Hamas that's the problem here. If they would stop attacking and give back the hostages, then you could have a ceasefire and peace. They had ceasefires before, they had one when they attacked Israel on Oct. 7. But they're still committed to killing people. They are the ones who need to be removed not just for Israel but for the benefit of the people of Gaza.

However, the radicals seem more interested in attacking Israel and the U.S. rather than caring about what would truly solve the issue. Which makes one think it's more about the attack, than the solution.
