As we reported, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) came out against Nikki Haley listing all the reasons that people should not vote for her for the GOP nomination for president. He even created a website called "Never Nikki" for people to sign up and join. "I am Never Nikki and I hope you will be too," he said in a video announcement.

Rand Paul Unleashed on Nikki Haley, Sununu Jumps to Her Defense, but Response Doesn't Bode Well for Her

New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu, a surrogate for Haley, said no one cared about what Paul thought, yet he cared enough to respond.

Then Paul's chief strategist Doug Stafford indicated that they had 10 million people who seemed to care and responded to the site. That doesn't bode well for Haley right on the eve of the Iowa caucuses. If that's true, that's a lot of response to get out in the one day they had the site up for at that point.

But Haley may get some help from Democrats. As we reported, Dems are trying to hurt former President Donald Trump's numbers by crossing over for Haley in Iowa.  Also, there's another report that more than half of her supporters would vote for Joe Biden over Trump. It's not exactly a rousing endorsement when the Democrats want to vote for you.

But Paul wasn't quite done with Haley yet and he had a response to those reports.

"Nikki’s strategy: Get Never Trumpers and Democrats to vote for her, and if she ‘s unsuccessful they’ll just vote for Biden. #nevernikki"

He also pointed out how Haley even got the "kiss of death" from former "Republican" Bill Kristol. What no Republican should want -- an endorsement from Kristol.

"Forever neocon, former Cheney Republican, Bill Kristol says vote Nikki," Paul said. "Need I say anything more?"

He then delivered a "Bud Light" dunking on her, posting a graphic that showed a Bud Light can but with Haley's face instead with the words, "Dem Light."

He noted this "Bud Light marketing campaign" with Haley just "might be worse than the last one." Bud Light nearly did themselves in with their connection to Dylan Mulvaney. They lost all kinds of customers and market cap in the process.

Paul is certainly not holding back as we now go into the primaries. The question will soon be settled.

Haley at this point is still far back from Trump in Iowa. We'll find out more soon as the caucuses come in to see if the crossover plan of the Democrats has any real effect or what her numbers might be.
