You are one of the few showing tenacity in the clutch. This $105B monstrosity, wrong on so many levels, must be clearly exposed and overturned. The House of Representatives has the Constitutional power of the purse, and should not hesitate to wield that power. I believe the American people are or will be with you.

I.m hearing now that there may be a snag on procedure, having to do with continuing resolutions. Nonetheless Congresswoman, please continue to drive them mad !!

I think by now we completely expect that Boehner and Cantor will abandon any promise made during the electoral cycle. Boehner is off crying somewhere and Cantor is polishing an apple for the crybaby.

But where is the freshman tea-party class? Have they already been corrupted by this leadership?

One of the biggest issues of this last election was repealing Obamacare. All the TP candidates supported repeal, yet they do nothing to defund it? Cowards. I guess we were all fooled.

I hope folks now realize why Boehner kept Ms. Bachmann out of the leadership. Because they didn’t want anyone with some spine.

We support your efforts and know you are doing all you can. Please let the leadership know we’re watching what they do. They promised to defund Obamacare and no matter what it takes, we expect them to live up to their promise. The American people are looking for credible leaders. If they blow this one, it will be painful to swallow.

talk about this on Hannity’s radio show a couple days ago. This $105B needs to be rescinded on principle because, although technically legal, the way this money was obtained is a gross abuse of the appropriations process. By appropriating this money in advance, to be spent over the next ten years, not only is this enabling ObamaCare’s implementation to continue as we speak, but “these provisions of Obamacare seek to remove spending decisions from the reach of the current Congress and from future Congresses and Presidents.” — from congressional testimony of Ernest Ishtook, former US congressman, now with the Heritage Foundation.

Says Ishtook, who cites the $105B that you mention:
“Making many years’ worth of advance spending decisions (in the bill) is an attempt to handcuff the current Congress and prevent it from determining current levels of spending. By going far beyond any precedent for making appropriations for future years, Obamacare is an outrageous effort by the former Congress to bind the current and future Congresses. This may not breach the constitutional limits of Congress, but it certainly breaches the sense of propriety. Spending decisions should be made by those who currently hold office, not by those who have resigned or been turned out by the voters.”

Thank you for drawing attention to this, Mrs. Bachmann and Mr. King. As Mr. Pence said, it is time to stand on principle, to “dig in and fight” even if it means shutting down the government. No essential services will be stopped during a shutdown. As Mike said, “Two thirds of the spending is on autopilot… so we couldn’t shut down the (whole) government if we wanted to.”

As far as I’m concerned, shut it down now, over this $105B (and the $61B), because I do not want the debt ceiling raised (in April?). By starting the forced savings now, the coming jolt when the debt ceiling doesn’t budge may be a little less severe. And for those who say we must raise the debt ceiling or the US will default on its debt, no we won’t. At least three studies have shown that we can continue to service the debt while bringing cowboy poetry festivals and other things to a screeching halt. It is time for this spendaholic government to go COLD TURKEY.

Rep. Bachmann, I was so inspired when I listened LIVE to the interview you and Rep. King did on the Mark Levin Showe last Thursday night that I just now completed this video on this matter.

I started with your interview and I interjected clips of Leadership, Rule Committee members, and freshman GOP all saying how horrible this bill is and that it needs to be repealed/defunded.

I really hope you’ll watch it and I hope the RedState community will help me make it go viral so we can stop this monstrosity.

What an important vote this is. Are there enough “tea party” Republican House members to “block” this i.e. not to vote for it? They’re not going to be able to explain away this vote to us if they come down on the wrong side of it.

All Democrats who voted for this monstrosity should have been out of office, but we evidently need a test for “voter quality” as some people who vote are definitely NOT thinking. I am not saying dumbocrats should be voted out, just the ones that voted for the worst legislation EVER. Remember what Pelosi said: “We have to pass this bill to see what’s in it.” No, you got that one wrong, too, madam speaker. Voting in Congress is voting for something you agree with, or something you DON’T agree with.. Not because someone told you to do it.
