J-E-T-S, Jets! Jets! Jets!

“If we do not have revenues, that means there are a bunch of kids out there who do not have college scholarships,” Obama said. “[It] might compromise the National Weather Services. It means we might not be funding critical medical research. It means food inspection might be compromised. I’ve said to Republican leaders, ‘You go talk to your constituents and ask them, “Are you willing to compromise your kids’ safety so some corporate-jet owner can get a tax break?”

– President Barack Obama once more brings us together as a nation.

Barack Obama has once more taken a major crisis and turned into a campaign prop. The entire debate on the debt ceiling is one big false choice now. We can have a $25Tr national debt in 10 years and feed the children, or all we really care about is rich people with private jets. And let me be clear, we’re talking rich, corporate people with private jets. Like Al Gore for example.

Leave it to a liberal to go straight for the class warfare jugular when they have no valid point whatsoever. The National Journal lays out our President’s blatantly dishonest strategy below.

• Rich versus Poor.
• Us versus Them.
• Those who supports children, food safety, medical research and, presumably, puppies and apple pie versus the rich fat cats who don’t

To which a logical man should immediately say “snuff the bleeping puppies!” The man up there spouting this crap saw no problem with the fact that British Petroleum was selected to receive an Environmental Safety Award mere weeks before the Deepwater Horizon Well exploded. All Barack Obama saw was the fact that they watered his crops when he went around asking for political donations.

This is the man who had no problem with the corporate jet-set including Jeffrey Immelt. He gave GE huge taxpayer subsidies for green energy. GE spent that money hiring workers – in China. President Barack Obama also lavished aid on General Motors which went to refurbish the factories, that make wonderful GM products – in Brazil.

President Barack Obama received $1mil from Goldman Sachs during his 2008 run for office. He initially peopled his economic policy team with former Goldman Sachs employees. He remains on very favorable and cordial terms with Jamie Dimon, CEO of Morgan Stanley. Just drop your stuffed envelope in The Lightworker’s collection plate, and I think your corporate jet is in no danger whatsoever of being impounded.

If Barack Obama and his allies in the so-called Democratic Party really cared about these issues, they’ve had access to an invaluable venue to express these concerns without the pointless ad hominem for lo, the last 800 days. They could have worked through the US Senate, firmly and solidly under Democratic Party control, and passed a Federal Budget. That would demonstrate their love for puppies and their condign disdain for the carbon footprint of the iniquitous corporate jet. It would also fulfill their fundamental and solemn duty.

But no, we get Kabuki Theater. The Democrats were afraid to save the cute and loyal puppies. They feared the ignorant masses (doing the dance of the low-sloping foreheads) would fail to understand just how much more important those puppies were than the average American families’ paycheck. The loveable, puppy-like Charles Schumer even pointed out that the Democrats shouldn’t pass a budget this FY because it wouldn’t be politically wise. It sure does suck when you gotta’ do your job or something.

But somewhere beyond the cozy corral where Barack Obama chews his cud and expels the predictable product thereof in the form of political excrement, the real world beckons our attention. For 800 days, the Democrats could not even be bothered with passing a budget that told the world how much they really did love the “Little Guy” (low-sloping forehead dances and all). Now they are four or so weeks away from hitting the statutory debt ceiling on Federal Expenditures.

So now, after 800 unconcerned days where the left hand didn’t know which member the right one was jerking, we have to ground all the iniquitous corporate jets. Give the Lightworker another line of credit or YOUR student loan will get it in the neck. He does this at the same time he drops hints about bailing out Greece if the EU doesn’t come through.

I have more respect for Standard and Poor’s right now than I do Barack Obama. They’ve explained quite bluntly that they will slash America’s bond rating to “D” if we continue to be the nation of low-sloping foreheads on this issue. It’s a shame they’re pussy liberals and grade on a curve.

If the majority of Americans really and truly believe that cutting the size of government, when struggling under $14Tr of national debt, equates to a desire to snuff puppies, we deserve a national default. If the majority of Americans truly believe they have a right to extract a loan for their tuition costs out of some other person’s paycheck, America is massively overdue for a well-deserved 2nd Great Depression. If the majority of people really believe the National Weather Service won’t just hire replacements from Korea or China; where students go to class at college sober, they are in for a grievous upset and disappointment.

Barack Obama’s rhetoric on this issue is toxic, disingenuous and deliberately divisive. He actually seems to want Americans to hate one another just a wee tad more. If the choice he presented us with were actually honest and accurate, my decision would still be easy. “J-E-T-S, Jets! Jets! Jets!” At least Rex Ryan is normally obnoxious and repulsive on his own dime. That is no longer true of either America’s Boy President or our national government.

Some of these people are even functionally literate. Some have degrees, even advanced degrees, you see, government is the new religion.

people seem to think 2012 is the end of booting people out of their life long political careers, it’s not.

They knock New England out of the playoffs so the Steelers don’t have to play ‘em.

not only an old worn out trick, it was also a huge gaffe. Limbaugh pointed to a Fox news story in February about the stimulus package that was pushed by Dems included tax breaks for corporate jets.

Hmmmmm… guess Obama was criticizing the GOP for his own actions.

On a separate, but related note, I found his dodge of the Libya question incredibly full of haughty superiority. He seemed offended that anyone would even dare ask him to match up any of his actions with the Constitution. Regardless of where a person stands on the War of Powers Act, I would think that they would find his demeanor offensive.

Bluster is about all he has left on this one. NATO may well cease to exist after this debaucle. They’ve descended to the point where NATO forces are supposedly trying to actively assassinate Quadaffi w/ air raids. I have no brief for the Libyan Lunatic, but that violates the entire false premiss that originally was run out to justify this fustercluck.

1: ?If we do not have revenues, that means there are a bunch of kids out there who do not have college scholarships,

I don’t care, not my job to pay for them.

2: [It] might compromise the National Weather Services
3 It means we might not be funding critical medical research

oh well, others can do it better for cheaper with no agenda and no desire to live forever doing it.

4; Are you willing to compromise your kids? safety so some corporate-jet owner can get a tax break

corporations ARE people. lets stop all incorporations and try suing every single person in a car company for a safety issue.

bet they will love corporations then.

and I loved the “childish” examples about his daughters when we have not had a budget since 2009 even when D was a super majority.

    Hope and Change vs
    Fear and Loathing.

    The standard Democrat Playbook strategy.

If you favor starving your kids, shoving your grandparents off a cliff in a wheelchair and killing puppies to make bedroom slippers, vote Republican.

If you want to save the Universe from any peril for all eternity and a pony for Christm… uh Kwanza, Vote Democrat.

I give you the modern Democrat Party, finally at it’s end point. Absent violence, as low in the pit of obscenity as the feces of humanity can wallow. And they love it. I assure you, this will get much worse, they are only getting warmed up. With all that’s happening in this afflicted country, this is what we get. Still, Obama has yet to reach his hellish nadir, his full potential.
