Is It Pro-Choice, If It’s An Offer You Can’t Refuse?

“I asked the doctor if it was a boy or girl,” Wei said. “The doctor said it was a boy. My friends who were beside me said the baby’s body was completely black. I felt desolate, so I didn’t look up to see the baby. The nurses dealt with the body like it was rubbish,” Wei said. “They wrapped it up in a black plastic bag and threw it in the trash.”

Wei Linrong, Chinese woman forced into a brutal, 3rd Trimester abortion. (HT:NPR.com)

Our current Vice-President, Huey “The Kingfish” Biden, repulses me with his vacuous inability to even comprehend the most basic fundamentals of morality. He recently traveled to China and missed out on a valuable opportunity to zip his obnoxious soup-cooler. Maybe, if he couldn’t address entitlement reform without excusing China’s state-mandated infanticide, he could have at least skipped addressing entitlement reform. But instead, it was Joseph Biden speaking and America was embarrassed by what he had to say below.

Your policy has been one which I fully understand — I’m not second-guessing — of one child per family. The result being that you’re in a position where one wage earner will be taking care of four retired people. Not sustainable.

– Vice-President, Joe Biden (HT:Hot Air.com)

It appalls me that a man one sniper-shot from the codes to the nuclear football could be so callously and sickeningly depraved. It’s so off-hand, such a pandering applause line. But he was smart enough to recognize wholesale infanticide was unsustainable. Cut the poor fellow some slack.(/sarc)

In riposte to poor, benighted, Addle-Pate Joe, China has dramatically reduced their carbon footprint. What could show greater sustainability than reducing your carbon footprint by aborting 300 million children? They’ve greatly reduced their fossil fuel usage by killing an entire USA worth of their fellow human beings. Captain Planet should strike them a commemorative gold coin.

I guess the best way to express my angst over this detestable quote is by analogy. I mean I totally get that Joe Stalin didn’t dig kulaks and all. But if you shoot every last one of them, you don’t have enough potatoes to make a decent vodka quota. It’s completely unsustainable. I understand how Slobodan Milosevic wanted to beautify Yugoslavia, but if you shoot every Bosnian that walks down the street, it depresses your retail foot traffic. The idea is an economic loser. You get the point. Joe Biden’s sycophantic pandering laid bare the fact that our current leadership has no human soul.

Joe Biden is now backing away from his own stupidity in horror. He’s horrified that he displayed the inner thug that lies beneath the public nincompoop. I wish I truly believed that Joe Biden was actually stupid enough to have said what he said on a basis of total ignorance. I can forgive the man for being pro-choice about an offer he can’t even understand. What angers me so, is that he just justified being “pro-choice” about an offer millions of victimized women are not able to even refuse.

    The mind reels.

So, if China’s one-child policy WERE sustainable, would that make it better?

Why doesn’t the Catholic Church excommunicate Biden and the rest of the public “Catholics” who are so totally anti-life? The Popeand the rest of the church hierachy must be deaf and blind to this. By choosing to remove these public anti-life thugs from participating in church sacrements, the Pope and his followers are condoning abortions. Those who are not for life are against it. Christ said, “Suffer little children to come unto me, for such is the kingdom of heaven.” The child who has been aborted cannot come to Christ.

wonder the same thing. One can only guess that the Catholic Church is afraid of losing it’s tax exempt status.

But I am pretty sure God will not.

    • lastgopinillinois

      from Jesus is:
“forbid them not, to come unto me: for to such belongeth the kingdom of heaven.” Translated into todays language means; do not hinder them their existence in life so they shall be able to receive the blessing of the Savior.

I am not sure, but I think it is because of this very quote that most devout Christians are so deeply opposed to abortion. For the longest time, I always thought it was because “Thou Shalt not Kill” is the 3rd of the 10 commandments.
Regardless of which one it is, I am opposed to abortion and even more opposed to government taking money away from me for the purpose of performing abortion. That makes me mad.

doesn’t take money away from you for abortion. It is illegal to do so. Reagan made sure of that.

        • lastgopinillinois

Tax dollars are used to fund Planned Parenthood, whos primary function is in abortion services (although they deny that). When federal dollars go to an organization like that, they can claim that the federal dollars are being used for other services. Money is fungible at the user end, so you would never be able to prove it. Conclusion: YES, tax dollars are being used to fund abortions

Cling to the rock. The church can facilitate your relationship with Christ; it cannot totally define it. As St. Paul sermonized; you have freedom from the laws to the extent to which you can decide in your mind and heart whether the sacraments would validly work for a man of Joe Biden’s moral character.

Jack, the real problem with the Church failing to discipline people such as Biden is that it leads other people astray. For instance, a Catholic sees and hears people such as Biden and Nancy Pelosi and Kathleen Sebelius calling themselves Catholic, and gets the impression that, since those people are not ex-communicated, evidently being pro-abortion is an acceptable “option.” If one can still be a “Catholic in good standing” while fighting to keep baby-killing legal, abortion must not really be such a big deal after all. In fact, so trivial a matter that if you find yourself pregnant at a bad time, you might get an abortion yourself.

See the stakes here? Real people do real, irreversible things, with huge, eternal consequences, because they’ve been misled about what’s good and what’s evil, about what is truly, wholly, and for all time incompatible with the way of Christ.

Church leaders are being very poor shepherds, in my opinion, by letting the wolf of the Culture of Death devour their flock.

called to task either as far as I know, certainly not in a public venue. So the Catholic hierarchy has been at this a very long time and is something I don’t understand. The despicable things involving some of the Kennedys would have been certain ex-communication for the common man.

    • atlmom

none of your business. It’s between Biden and the church. Not between you and anyone.

And just because someone thinks something is *wrong* doesn’t mean something should be *illegal*.

  • banzaibob

I actually wish Obama good health even after he leaves office because if Biden were President, I shudder to even think. Also I watched a video of Biden trying to shoot an arrow and when he drew the arrow back it came off the string and at that point I felt totally emabarrased he was representing the US in China.

Three reasons Obama chose Biden for VP

    1. It makes him look smart.
    2. He can stick a finger in the Clinton’s eyes.
    3. He can make fun of white men.

    • Repair_Man_Jack

Joe Biden’s continued existence is a day-to-day refutation of survival of the fittest.

  • griffinelection

    Great post. So true.

  • FlyingTigress

… He can flaunt the Constitution with impunity because no one would vote to impeach ans remove him from the Presidency, knowing that it would in “President Biden”

Ditto, actions taken against BHO by an individual – actions that I won’t describe

    … RESULT in “President Biden”

The sanctity of life is yet another of the multitude of issues that the libs JUST DON’T GET.

    • rightwingmom52

many on our side do nothing but give lip service to the issue.

    • atlmom

of people who would never even CONSIDER voting for an R because they abhor the idea that anyone thinking abortion should be legal is somehow not worthy of anything.
Generations of people have grown up, thanks to Reagan, thinking the Rs are evil. Because of this issue.
You can think something is wrong without thinking it has to be illegal.

      • lastgopinillinois

Are you saying that Abortion should not be mentioned on the Federal level?
Thats fine by me, but teurnabout is fair play.
If abortion is not a federal issue, then there should be no TAX dollars used for abortion, ie planned parenthood and overseas funding to Africa, etc.
Fine, let the States handle it. We know that the majority of the people dont want it, so there should be few States that would fund it. At least thats better than forcing everyone to fund it.
