If Raising The Romney’s Five Kids Involved Work, The Obama Administration Would Underpay Her For It.

Can Anybody Say "War On Women?"

For a while I was just stunned to learn that the terrific, sensitive, caring and wonderful President who gave America The Lilly Ledbetter Act was deliberately and systematically underpaying his female employees. That was until Hillary Rosen filled us in on what the Obama White House really thinks about “The Little Woman.”

Now I don’t know about you, but when I was kid, I added additional mileage and wear and tear to my poor mother that went beyond the ravages of time. My own wife finds raising two small children harder than her old job working in IT. She wishes she could go back to “work.” Having a job is quantifiably easier than staying home and caring for small children. All of this autobiographical data goes to point out what an insane, heartless fool Hillary Rosen truly is when she announces with grandiloquent arrogance that Ann Romney (who raised FIVE children) never worked a day in her life.

My wife counts the days until our daughter is old enough to start with Pre-K. This isn’t because she doesn’t adore our cute, little daughter. This is because keeping track of a toddler, a house and all the other details of day-to-day life is WORK – hard work. The first thing I get when I walk through the door each evening is two hands full of toddler. I’ve read that this not an uncommon experience for men who are married to women who tend hearth and home while we support our families.

Ann Romney had totally heard enough of this self-important, yuppitista butt-wipe. She demonstrated feminine independence by answering Hateful Hillary as follows: “I made a choice to stay home and raise five boys. Believe me, it was hard work,” Ann tweeted.

And while Hillary Rosen is the utterly typical Obama campaign staffer, he wasted no time letting her kiss pavement underneath the wheels of the bus.

“I could not disagree with Hilary Rosen any more strongly. Her comments were wrong and family should be off limits. She should apologize,” Obama campaign manager Jim Messina said in a tweet. Top Obama campaign strategist David Axelrod also tweeted his disapproval: “Also Disappointed in Hilary Rosen’s comments about Ann Romney. They were inappropriate and offensive.”

Of course they had to disown Hillary Rosen. She was egregiously honest. She told people exactly what she genuinely believed. She has no understanding of; and no respect for a woman who could do anything with her life and considers raising her children the highest possible calling. Hillary Rosen considers this a waste of time and talent. It makes her a perfect representative of the anti-traditional left. The only thing she did wrong, in the reptilian eyes of David Axelrod, was publically admitting it.

To do so puts them at odds with their leftist, feminist nuts…the ones who scramble votes and give money.

Feminist nuts DESPISE stay-at-home moms because they hold traditions and values – as well as service to something more than themselves – near and dear to their hearts. And most of them love their husbands, which is feminist taboo in the 1st degree.

Obama can’t escape this moment no matter how hard he tries to. This isn’t Jeremiah Wright. It’s a key player in the Democrat Party insulting ALL stay-at-home moms.

…is accusing a happily married stay-at-home mom of being out of touch.

Take a look at this lobbyist’s own bio. As former Chairman and chief executive officer of the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), she hasn’t exactly been struggling to put food on the table herself.

38-44% (depending on age groups) of women with children not in the work force are likely not good candidates for this lefty blather.

Remember when the Hill said she didn’t stay home and bake cookies. Shortly after, she was serving the press tea and cookies.

They can squirm all they want, but they will be stained by this until hell freezes over.

First, as an aside, in the beginning of that CNN exchange, Hilary addresses the phrase “War on Women.” She claims that the President and the Obama campaign are not using it and that “Republicans are the ones spreading it.”

Seriously? The shamelessness with which these people lie is astounding.

The complete idiocy about what Rosen said about Ann Romney is that whether or not a woman works outside the home, it’s very often the woman who handles the family budget, who makes decisions about health care, who purchases the food and clothing for the family, etc. In fact, single-income families are often much more budget conscious and frugal and live on far less than their working counterparts. It’s most often the mothers who must find ways to creatively make a dollar stretch farther and find ways to do more with less.

Hilary is actually the one being “old fashioned” (her accusation against Romney) by implying that in a one income family, the man makes all the financial decisions and he alone is capable of understanding the realities of the tanking economy because he alone is out in the workforce. Hilary is implying that the “little woman” at home baking cookies must be unaware or incapable of comprehending such difficult matters. What a sexist.

My wife would have removed her trachea with a dull, leaden spoon.

She’s apparently never heard the phrase, “If Mama ain’t happy…” Bless her heart.

        • Repair_Man_Jack

“Bless her heart” just made that perfect.

A real mom could get the job done with a sturdy wooden spoon.

This type of criticism by women goes way back to women’s lib. When I had three small children in the 70′s I got lots of critcism: “too many children”, “you don’t work?”, “what do you do all day?”, ” ” are you going to be just a baby-making machine?”, etc. etc. etc. Knock it off, women!!! Women’s lib was supposed to be for “liberation” but really the underlying message was ALWAYS “don’t have babies” and “get out of the house”. It’s a shame nothing has changed.

I think the congressmen who were attacked with the “War on Women” robocalls ought to hit back with their own “War on Moms” calls.
